This most recent purchase of a 2011 Chevy Avalanche LTZ is my third new Avalanche since 2005. It is my 28th new vehicle, 24 of them from General Motors, I have purchased a new Camaro, a new Corvette convertible, 2 new trailblazers, a new Equinox, and 2 new Avalanches from Quirk Chevrolet. The experience of buying a new vehicle is almost equal to going back to the dentist after a 25 year absence. You know you will be there for awhile, and you know you will be uncomfortable. However, at Quirk it was like gentle sedation dentistry. The whole experience was actually almost fun. OK, it was fun. I called Haikle first to find out how much equity I had in my older vehicle. I asked him if I could upgrade to the new 2011 LTZ and keep my payment the same. He said 'yes' and I went in for my appointment to meet Sam, my salesman, and whom I most highly recommend. I was on time and he was waiting for me at the door with a friendly 'hello, Mr. Lynch' We sat down, I chose which of the 5 black LTZ's Quirk had in stock, they took about one minute to assess my dented trade in, and within 5 minutes I had a contract with all the terms stated in my hands, signed it, got approval in less than that, and had the deal completed in moments. It doesn't get easier than that! Other dealers have consumed 4-6 hours on a similar deal without a body damaged trade-in. I have spent entire days at some dealerships when there was a minor problem, working, persevering, trying to make the deal go down with encouragement from the salesman while the management kept making me 'negotiate', and after an entire day of exhausting going back and forth, actually leaving the dealership empty handed, and having to start the entire process all over again with another dealer. In this last deal, I checked with other dealerships nearby. Only one had a vehicle I wanted, QUIRK had 5. That other dealership was one we spent too much time with previously, and walked out after many hours, while we were waiting to hear from 'upstairs' for an OK to our last offer. BTW, the price I received for my trade-in at QUIRK was better than I expected. I have walked into other dealerships and felt like a piece of meat entering a cage of starving vultures, afraid of giving any eye contact, fearing I would have to deal with the alfa male responder when all I wanted was a catalog or a look at a showroom vehicle. You can see why I have rated my vehicle purchase with QUIRK the best in the industry. Robert Lynch More
We live on Cape Cod, but went "off-Cape" with the intention of going to a few Chevy dealerships in order to compare models/prices of used vs. new Chevy Traverses at each of them. This was a trip to research our options, but we ended up buying one at Quirk--the first dealership we went to, and not because we felt pushed into it at all. Sam greeted us warmly and professionally as soon as we arrived, but didn't pounce on us either. We loved working with him! He's really a great guy. We'd already done our research, so we told him what features were important to us, and which ones weren't critical (aka, those we didn't want to pay extra for), so he showed us several models accordingly, and didn't try to "sell up" to us at all. We were amazed at their selection. The price we got was very fair, as was the trade-in for our very beat up, high-mileage old minivan. Because of Chevy's and/or Quirk's month-/year-end sales promotions and the financing option we chose, it was about the same price to buy a new '11 model as it would have been w/out those promotions for a '09 or '10, so it was a no-brainer! Sam's also been excellent since then in following up about our registration, making sure we're all set and happy with our car choice, etc. Oh, and we LOVE our new Traverse!! What an awesome vehicle for the price. More

Great overall experience. Went into Quirk Pre-Owned on a referral from a friend and was pleased with the experience. Within a couple hours found the truck I wanted, got a good trade-in value, and was able to drive away that night. Ask for John Oliva to find you the right car, and tell the GM Chris Collins to get you the best deal. (or ask nicely) More
Already knew we wanted a Cobalt. We were put off by other dealerships where the finance people seemed really slick/shady, and we were worried about getting ripped off by them. John in Finance is very professional and knowledgeable about the cars and the math, was really interested in our deal and making this work for us specifically at Quirk which resulted in his streamlining the whole process for us. He really made it effortless! We were looking to pay within a certain monthly payment and he hit the target. As far as price paid, we weren't looking to "steal" the car, but got a great deal without feeling ripped off. Thank you! We'll be back :) More
Just wanted to thank you Quirk Chevrolet again and all the management for how well my family and I were treated by Mr. James Thorp and the Quirk staff. I was a bit skeptical about purchasing a car sight unseen from an out of state dealership, but Mr. Thorp’s manner and desire to please us left me feeling confident about the transaction. We dove five hours to pick up the car and another five hours to return it home. I would (and will) do this again. Mr. Thorp was prompt to return all my calls and messages and was not put off my automotive idiosyncrasies. I now have two Z06’s in my garage – each work flawlessly. Although they are only a model year apart there are noticeable differences in the driving. The 2008 is sprung softer, is more luxurious and has a lighter clutch. The 2007 is noisier and more stiffly sprung. It is a basic Z06. The clutch requires strong thigh muscles. The red Corvette is an attention getter, but the black has a certain elegance. If Quirk Chevy ever needs a satisfied customer reference to reassure someone, I’d be happy to oblige. Good luck to Quirk Chevy and hope to see you soon! More
