But Melissa and Jake (general manager) worked extremely hard to fix our issue and get us into our dream truck! Melissa was very professional and kind during our approval process. I highly recommend buying from her, she knows her stuff and truly cares about her customers. I won't go anywhere else next time I need a truck, especially NOT AutoFair ever again! More
Excellence in Sales / Experience I recently purchased a new Chevy Silverado at Quirk Motors Chevy, Manchester, NH. The experience was excellent. I chose the vehicle I wanted, asked for the best price out of the gates because I didn't have time to negotiate, and received a price w/in minutes that was beneficial for both parties. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone interested in purchasing a new vehicle. Quirk Motors operates this way in all of their locations. Sincerely, Adam Langdon Strafford, NH More
I have only had a few experiences with Quirk. I have driven brand new Chevy vehicles for years. Luckily, they have not needed "Dealer" service, because I cringe when I think of my experiences with this driven brand new Chevy vehicles for years. Luckily, they have not needed "Dealer" service, because I cringe when I think of my experiences with this dealership. Against my better judgement and the advice of friends and co-workers to stay away from their service dept, out of convenience, I decided to give Quirk another try. The check engine light is on on my 2012 Traverse and it's making very unhappy noises. Since it is warranty work, my options are very limited. So, ring, ring... I am so not surprised that the man who took my call was so obviously miserable in his job. Just who you want to answer your call in Customer Service. We agreed on the details of when I would bring my car in, though I am still not sure why he made this so difficult. He asked when I wanted to? I gave a day. He asked a time? I said I would drop it off early in the morning for the day. He told me 9:30 would be my appt. I agreed and said it did not matter what time they actually brought it in for the service, I would drop it for the day. He then asked what time I would drop it off? I said around 8:00 a.m. He then said he would "have to rearrange his schedule" so that I could do this and was very put out? Huh? Now I am confused. I've been dropping my cars off for the day for service for years. Most service depts prefer the convenience of not having to rush because a customer is waiting. This is the Service Advisor and he is put out? He was so RUDE and OBNOXIOUS in his attitude and tone I was shocked. When I suggested it might be better that he ask someone else to help me when I drop my vehicle off he informed me "That's a great idea, I will do that" and hung up on me! Yes, this is where I want to spend my hard earned money and recommend to my friends to frequent. It's not my first experience with this type of rudeness there, nor that of my co-workers. We have several Traverses on the road in the area and we all choose to go elsewhere for service, for good reason. Most of the reviews here suggest they are a great place to buy. I hope whatever you are buying does not need servicing by them. I won't be keeping the appt that I made today, but I will be using this site to find another dealership. I highly recommend Sears, over the bridge. Fast, FRIENDLY, EASY and affordable and an A++ in Customer Service. More
I contacted the dealership via the internet, in communications specifically stating my intentions to compare the V6 and the V8 Camaro and Corvette, and take a test drive. The response I received s communications specifically stating my intentions to compare the V6 and the V8 Camaro and Corvette, and take a test drive. The response I received said "we are here until 9:00pm tonight so if you have sometime let me know and I will have the car pulled up and the trade appraiser waiting". I also had assurances that the prices we had discussed would be all documented when I arrived, and I proceeded to set up an appointment for 1PM. When we arrived, I was greeted by a salesman named Alan, and I asked for Eric their internet sales person. He said he could handle the visit. But in short, this salesman and dealer was apparently not really interested in satisfying my need to compare vehicles before I spent $42,000 or more, they just "want to get you into a car". After repeatedly explaining that I wanted to look at Camaro, Corvette and Mustang (a different dealer) before I could settle on something, the best they could do is offer a test drive in a V6 Camaro. And when we went on a test drive with the V6, it was on a 30 MPH limit residential loop with stop signs, lights and traffic, when there was a interstate right there that would have offered a better test drive opportunity. They made excuses for not offering the V8 Camaro for a test drive, and after realizing what a dud this dealership was, I was all too happy to end the test drive and depart. While I was at Quirk, I had a second dealer call me on my cell with an appointment to drive both a V6 and V8 Camaro and a Corvette. What was Quirk thinking? They ended their own sales opportunity. One of the worst experiences at any car dealerships I have ever had..I was very busy at work and my wife was driving the car that we were looking to trade in so I asked if she could stop in to Quirk so t have ever had..I was very busy at work and my wife was driving the car that we were looking to trade in so I asked if she could stop in to Quirk so they could appraise the car which she did. She ended up beng in there for 50 minutes with our two young kids just for them to look at the car and there was no one else even in there. They were very rude to her before she even got inside. She parked at the wrong end of their giant building and told her she had to move the car after she had already gotten out with our two kids but after a dirty look from her some one offered to go get the car and bring it down. Now I get there after work looking for Eric the Internet manager who I had been dealing with. When I asked for him the salesman just sat me down and went though his BS and Eric never even came over which is pretty rude. The salesman asked what car I was interested in and I told him a Cruze so he took it upon himself to go grab a bottom of the barrel LS model and bring it up front, he then showed me the car and after he explained everything about the car I told him I had no interest in that trim level and asked about a LT I saw online. So off he goes to the sales counter then walks around outside for 5 minutes and comes back and says oh that car is in back and we don't have the keys since they are locked in service dept. because the car needs to be serviced first. Really a brand new car needs servicing?? No they just wanted to sell a left over car at a crazy price. Says they can get into it tomorrow and we should do a credit app on it any way. My credit is iffy so I did the credit app to see where we stood and he said he would call me the next day. Guess what no call no nothing! Typical car dealer games.. Avoid this place just go to Portsmouth Chevy! More
Joe Tomao was our salesperson. He was by far the best to do business with. He took the time to show us 3 cars before we found the right one. The other Chevy stores didnt have time for us. My vehicle was towed to Quirk on 4/11/13 due to a transmission issue. I also asked that a broken door handle and broken rear defroster be fixed under my Platinum Service Contract purchased from Quir transmission issue. I also asked that a broken door handle and broken rear defroster be fixed under my Platinum Service Contract purchased from Quirk when I bought the vehicle. Fred in the Svc Department informed me that the handle and defroster were not covered under my service contract. Disappointed, I paid Fred $1200 when I picked up my vehicle. I have subsequently called the warranty company who holds the Platinum Contract and they have confirmed that the defroster was, in fact covered. This was approximately $800 of my $1200 bill. It is a very disappointing experience to be lied to. In addition, the bill was very confusing to read and when I asked for specific details about certain line items I received only hazy, obscure responses leaving me with zero confidence in the work done and the dealership in general. I am so nervous that I am looking into selling this vehicle asap for fear of future failures and I most decidedly will not pay Quirk a visit for the sale. More
