Shown a "demo" '23 Silverado advertised on their website and represented as "a demo that is new". (I've seen this before, dealer plates go on the vehicle, vehicle is never titled. Over 2,000 miles never titled is demo). Had, in what I will only say in my opinion was a horrific sales experience with Craig Russell. But, the GM product was good and the price was good, so as many of us often have I slogged past the slime. Next day filed a complaint to ask if tactics used during the sale were legal. The Gen. Mgr. told me immediately that they can refuse sale of a vehicle to anyone, NOT, wow are you kidding, not can I get your story of events. He asks me what do I want to do? I told him honestly I didn't know. I was hoping he'd of steered the conversation I guess. So that was it there, Chevy branch never contacted me the next day like every "new" vehicle I've purchased. Had to ask for my sales contract as the night I purchased it they said they'd e-mail me the contract. (I know. But I was frazzled.) Dealership contact ended. Wrote a letter of demand knowing that would reignite communication. I then find out through the Mass RMV that the truck had been titled by Quirk already... Owner #1. Certificate of origin no longer a factor. For approx. 3 weeks through the BBB and e-mails the attorney representing them denied the vehicle as used. AFTER the approx. 3 week period I'm told I signed a document stating I knew the vehicle was used. I said I would love to see it. The PDF document I received was most suprising as it was a Mass Title reassigned to Quirk Chevy Manch. Owner #2, then below that, a reassignment of title the night of my purchase. I've never seen a Mass Title before, use your imagination. The truck had transformed from a new/demo to a used vehicle and I had known that all along even though they had just been fighting for weeks saying it wasn't? First I was upset and frantic called, emailed, called Attorney multiple times. Our usual communication had a lag and I was accusing something serious. I regained lucidity and was like... if they had this supposed physical title of transfer (no ppwk in my contract mentioning this, no buyers guide in my contract or on the truck) WHY if I called and said "I don't have a new truck here!" wouldn't the first thing you present be that reassignment of title and say... Hey, BBB, hey Kevin you hit your head. Here's a Gov. doc. RIGHT HERE, that you signed. Stop contacting us. OR would you have a boutique lawfirm out of Boston go back and forth with me for weeks whether the truck was used or not? GM involved by me. Make sense to anyone? Sales contract checkbox is checked new, on odometer statement page disclosed mileage and checked the box that truck was new. Not demo, not used. I'll find out on Monday what they checked off on the Gov. doc. for app. of NH Title. My story is true. No word of a lie. Tried calling the dealer, Tried the BBB, the gentleman I spoke with said him nor his Super. had ever seen anything like this before so they just closed the complaint. He admitted it was beyond the purvue of what BBB can help with. One other thing I can't figure out and I do not know the answer. On my contract I was shown $0 for a Limited Lifetime Engine Warranty, no spots to opt out, only boxes to opt in which my salesman populated. Just something Quirk does, the salesman said. Zeros all down the contract. Much later as I'm dissecting things I pull up the warranty page and it says "How much extra will it cost?" the word extra caught my eye but I kept reading. It then says "Nothing! The Lifetime Engine Warranty comes with the selling price of the vehicle." .... Wouldn't that sentence just stop at the word Nothing!? No one will answer me on this point, the insurance is by Zurich so it's not free to Quirk. Maybe someone else can find out is it baked into the price? Or is it out of the kindness of their hearts and they have a huge red ink line on their ledger? More
We had a totally flat tire -- and running tight on time to get to Logan airport. The Quirk Service team jumped into action and had us on our way in 20 minutes. And no charge for an unscheduled visit. Required a brake job on my Silverado while travelling in SLC and give Silverton Chevy of that area 5 stars for the effort to get me back on the road. Unfortunately, the truck developed pulsing of the front left while on return home. Was told I could visit local Chevy dealer (Quirk Chevrolet Manchester) and they would address the issue. I visited service on two occasions. I suspected a warped rotor and asked them to please scope it out. The first time they said it was the rear brakes and tire balance. I had these issues addressed and problem continued. I returned and without even the benefit of a road test was told there was nothing wrong with rotors and they couldn't touch truck because someone else did rear brakes. Finally took to independent who found that the drums had significant rust left behind when rotors were originally replaced and caused rotor to warp and pulse. Removed rust and put on new rotor and truck runs great. I realize problem began in SLC but **** happens and that is what guarantees and service are supposed to be about. Neither of which you will find at Quirk. More

After my car was finished Someone else gave me the keys and said she was on lunch and assured me she would call me back. It is been about a week today. I received a email from Quirk to leave a review of how my service was. I explained in the review what happened that I never received the phone call back and what would you know about an hour later, I received a phone call from the manager of Chevy service. At first, he was great and said that he would help me out and get my seat repaired and figure out anything else I needed, but he needed me to leave his service advisor a A+ excellent review. I explained to him that I did not receive A+ excellent service, so I could not leave such a review. He then told me that if I did not leave them an A+ review that he would not work on my automobile. Told me that if I did not leave him a good review that they would not install the new seat cover that my car needs under factory warranty and told me I would need to go to a different Chevy Dealer in order to get it done. So this is how Quirk Chevrolet deals with customers that have an issue they threaten them in order to get an A+ review with Chevy. Thank God I recorded the conversation. So the moral of the story is do not go to Quirk Chevrolet at all cost. So quirk Chevrolet in Manchester uses threats to get A+ reviews for their service department, Danny quirk is the owner and he also owns the Quincy auto auction. I doubt he knows what's going on in his building. More
Went from one bad chevy dealer to another one. Went in to have front end noise checked out and the found a problem with passenger brake rotor. they replaced rotors and pads and suggested to have a Went in to have front end noise checked out and the found a problem with passenger brake rotor. they replaced rotors and pads and suggested to have a front end alignment because tires were wearing on the edge so i asked if they could rotate tires also, well when car was finished they did not rotate tires and the alignment was not right. Had to go back so the could rotate and realign the front, after three tries and 3 hours later they could not figure out how to fix it, so they want me to wait a week till there specialist can check car. So at that point it was no and give me my money back so i can bring to a place that knows what there doing., (BANK CHEVY,CONCORD) Best place ever. So don't waste your time and money on this SERVICE DEPT. WORST EVER. More
We have now bought two family cars from Autumn Thompson. We are so impressed with her knowledge, flexibility and time she spent to get us the cars and the deals that we wanted. As a whole they have been a total NIGHTMARE after the sale. Bought a 2 year old Silverado for 36k and truly wish I never had, from this rat hole. PLEASE , PLEASE save yourself the hassle with after the sale regret!!! If there was a lower grade then an F, for caring about the customer I would gladly give it or choose no stars. The worst I have ever experienced in all my life time!! I just wish I would have listened to others before I bought here. If you do buy, don't say you weren't warned!!! Be careful for the service dept. They are not as caring as they appear!!! I do hope I can help others before they themselves are taken for a ride!!! More
