I have had a very hard time finding a tool for my job on my ford. after three days and five wrong tools rented I called woody sander ford. Im disabled and i told them this , i also told them they wouldnt lose any work telling me about the tool because i couldnt afford five hundred dollars to have them fix it. i learnt later its a dealer item only. it seemed me for them it was all about the money , finally a person in a small garage on glenway ave told me how to remove my part , here is my train of thought , if they are not willing to help me disabled with just dropping a word or two to help get me the person that sells this tool , or sell me the tool themselfs or let me see what they would have used , i dont think they are going to have concerns for any abled bodied person either , they pretended like they knew nothing about this tool yet they could fix it for five hundred dollars. there is an up side however , even though they basically all said and done to me to buzz off they did it in a kind manner if that means anything to anyone. life goes on with the same repeated story , most people just dont care. soon im going to need tires, im going to see the man with the kind heart in the garage on glenway ave for that work , God Bless , thanks for taking the time to read. I did all my research about the service required, as outlined in my truck service manual. I set-up an online appointment and called the day of my appointment to confirm location and appointment. The rating of the customer service over the phone was a ok. I wanted a transmission flush, fuel filter change and new battery. However the transmission flush was one price but they wanted to charge me another. Very dishonest considering the price was posted on their price board in the corner wall. After that lack of trust, I decided to just get the fuel filter and transmission done. I did ask for a battery price which I never got to date. The following day, I got a call that the service on my truck was complete. The message aslo said some cable for my parking brake was seized and needed repair. That afternoon, I went and picked up my truck. Paid, collected my keys and was told my car is somewhere in the parking lot. Hunted for my truck and for some strange decided to check my fluids while I was still there. Found two fluids (one was the coolant)below manufacturer recommended marked range. Requested a top-off since this was supposed to have been included in the free multi-point check. The technician reluctantly added some coolant and gave me some excuse about the other. My whole experience with this particular Ford dealership was not good and I question weather to invest in a Ford vehicle again. I move to Cincinnati area recently and I am considering purchasing a small fuel efficient vehicle once I purchase a permanent home next year. More
Ted in the parts department went out of his way to locate the back ordered part I needed, then get it UPS'd in and I was motoring the next day. My 2008 Ford Edge has been driving wonderfully since. This Bill guy is a liar and a thief. He sold me a used steering pump in a NEW box. I paid for it and took it home - when I opened the box it was USED. I was so mad and then he acted all smart when I called him on it trying to tell me that I changed the part. After a lot of complaining he finally took the pump back, but he made me feel like I cheated him. What a XXXXXX! Don't go there. You will be riped off. More
