So far, the car purchased has been fine, but the overall experience was both arduous and odious - and it took all day. It wasn't so much the classic car dealer negotiating games (though those are annoying) experience was both arduous and odious - and it took all day. It wasn't so much the classic car dealer negotiating games (though those are annoying), but rather the three-card monte of shifting around the various elements of the price at each negotiation phase - they take away the previous negotiating sheet when they do the next one, so it's impossible to compare them and see what got shuffled around. The initial pricing is a little misleading - intentionally, no doubt - since it "assumes" both a trade-in and financing (two other revenue streams for the dealer). So they add one or both back in if you're not doing them, then take them out if you insist long enough. The most annoying, though, was the charge for (anti-theft) glass etching, which they eventually admitted they do on every car on their lot - "we do it because we get cars stolen off the lot." In other words, they do it for their own benefit, not for the benefit of the buyer, then they make the buyer pay several hundred dollars for it - it can't cost them more than a few bucks per car to do it. And they never showed where the etched numbers are, so we could pretend it was a benefit for us somehow. After complaining about it for a while, the finance guy said "we'll see if we can get that refunded for you." So far, after a month, not a peep...leading one to wonder if the old adage is true: Once you drive it off the lot, they don't care anymore. They have your money, and they moved a car. More

We were told it would be inspected and detailed and ready to pick up on Friday. We didn’t get the vehicle until late afternoon on the following Tuesday. Kept getting lane excuses shy it wasn’t ready… finally on Tuesday when they brought the vehicle around for acceptance, we noticed the stereo wasn’t working, and the detailing was nothing more than a hosing off and a vacuuming. The truck bed was filthy, the interior was not cleaned to a dealership standard, and there was a gross film on all the windows. It took several more hours to get the vehicle ready to drive away, all that entailed was hooking the stereo up and wiping the windows down. James said he owed us a detailing. But xxxx, not impressed with their performance and customer service. It seemed like, “well, we got the sale, so who GAF about the rest”…. Also, on The stereo thing, there was an Alpine amplifier under a seat that was hooked up during test drive, when we received the vehicle, it was unhooked and loose. This no doubt lead to the absence of any audio. Why would they do that? Was someone trying to steal it? 🤔… but whatever the reason for this, it all led to a less than stellar experience at this LARGE dealership that has all the resources to do it right. Lastly, I recall, when the vehicle did come out and I was appalled be the lack of cleanliness/detailing, the rep stated “ it’s just a cheerleader type carwash that we have”. I call xx on that on so many level . Quibideaux gets 3 thumbs down. Yes I’m rambling and b!tching , but feel it’s warranted when you spend that kind of money… maybe I should have given 1 star but James was a courteous, professional (unfortunate middle man) to the rest of the companies shenanigans. Give me a reason why anyone should go there? More
