Bought my 2021 Forester from this dealer and had a pleasant buying experience—no pressure. Just had my first warranty service appointment for oil change and tire rotation. I was able to schedule this pleasant buying experience—no pressure. Just had my first warranty service appointment for oil change and tire rotation. I was able to schedule this appointment for the next day. The staff was efficient and friendly. My questions and concerns were addressed and resolved to my satisfaction. My husband and I are extremely disappointed in how we were dealt with as perspective buyers. We expressed interest in a vehicle to a sales rep via the website. We were told the vehicle was in the shop for repairs and would be available to test drive upon completion. We were assured we would have that opportunity. However, we received a text message informing us the vehicle had been sold without us having a chance to purchase it ourselves. We understand we’re dealing with a business and the bottom line reigns supreme, but is this how you folks treat potential customers? We truly expected a better experience. More
Bought a 2006 Subaru Forester in 2019 with only 52,000 miles on it plus a 4 year warranty. Had every service performed at Quantrell Subaru from just oil changes to warranty work from having the engine oil miles on it plus a 4 year warranty. Had every service performed at Quantrell Subaru from just oil changes to warranty work from having the engine oil seals replaced to a electrical problem that needed the TCM replaced. The service techs got oil all over the inside that Quantrell did detail out. The problem lies when the same electrical problem came back after 2 weeks. They had the car for 2 more weeks. I took a picture of my milage at 75100 miles. When I picked up my car the milage read 75180 plus the rear hatch paint looked like someone hauled wet drywall. As there was white residue on the back hatch and sides of the car. My normal person I deal with was not there that day. So I asked the gentleman that drove my car around 1. Why is there an extra 80 miles on my car. 2. what is this white residue on my car? He replied with I can just call Tony and he can answer my questions. I am tired of taken my car in and getting it back in worse shape than I brought it in. More
The scheduling was easy with many different appointment times. I pulled in and the service staff was friendly, helpful and quick. I had a great experience recently at Quantrell Subaru. Greg was gracious, accommodating and made the process of purchasing my first vehicle comfortable and efficient. Tijuan was great as well, talking me through my options and was very helpful and made the experience enjoyable rather than nerve-racking. I've been considering a new or used Suburu WRX-Premium. I live in Louisville, KY and have communicated with and/or visited several dealerships. Sales representative Michelle Barton is the only one that has a live in Louisville, KY and have communicated with and/or visited several dealerships. Sales representative Michelle Barton is the only one that has actually listened to what I was looking for and followed up with useful information. If/when I decide to purchase a Suburu I'll gladly make the drive to Lexington to see Michelle at Quantrell. More
I will keep this brief as I will not waste any more time and effort on Quantrell Subaru, specifically their service department. Succinctly put, I have consistently experienced exploitative business practice and effort on Quantrell Subaru, specifically their service department. Succinctly put, I have consistently experienced exploitative business practices (e.g., overquoting folks unfamiliar with mechanics with services/fixes not needed), close door services (e.g., two service representatives pulled me into the next room and told me they topped off my oil and not to say anything as it was free of charge during one of my oil consumption tests, this later was used against me as there was no written record), and lastly, poor quality of service (e.g., they left two wrenches on my engine and took out my cabin and air filters without replacing them). These are just a few of the "highlights" of the service provided by Quantrell Subaru over my three years, two vehicles, two engine repairs, and a handful of Subaru of American Consumer complaints, in addition to more than 40 phone calls with service department representatives and service department manager, Tony. Please do yourself a favor and buy/service your Subaru at a more trusted Subaru dealership. More
