I contacted this dealership by telephone shopping for the best price for a 2013 Outback, which I was buying for my son, a recent college graduate who just landed a job in Massachusetts. I live in Connecticut and thought it would be easier to buy the car here. I found Mr. Blichfeldt to be helpful and straightforward, and a gentleman. He offered a fair price without haggling when other dealers were several hundred dollars higher. Unfortunately, I would have had to order the exact car I wanted which meant waiting til the next shipment arrived several weeks later. My son said he couldn't wait that long. Mr. Blichfeldt suggested I might want to buy the car in Massachusetts near where my son lives, which I ultimately ended up doing, but I could not pass up the opportunity to write about my experience here. I visited the dealership 4 times before deciding to buy a 2013 Impreza. Every one I had interaction with at the dealership were very friendly and they made the whole process so easy. This new Impreza is the 2nd Subaru in our family. My husband drives a 2001 Forester with over 100,000 miles on it. He says it's just getting broken in. I highly recommend this dealership. More

I don't put much stock in this web site's reviews because they all deal with sales and because they are all entirely favorable. Do you really know anyone who's had nothing but positive experiences with any c they all deal with sales and because they are all entirely favorable. Do you really know anyone who's had nothing but positive experiences with any car dealership, especially AFTER they've purchased the car? Quality Subaru's service is horrible. There is a serious communication problem there and a real lack of respect for the customer. Sure, there's a veneer demanded by the sales team but its thin and the service department is not, in my opinion, to be trusted. Their "service consultants," make promises they have no intention of keeping, promise call backs they have no intention of keeping and outright lie to you. I dealt with the service manager too. He rude, blaming the lack of communication on me, etc. What all staff in the service department seem to have in common is the inability to listen to the customer and a general condescending attitude toward people. Be careful, this shop will do anything to cover up their mistakes, including lying. I don't trust them I certainly would not recommend having your car serviced there! More
