Usually when you walk on to an auto dealer lot they run at you and try to force you in to cars you dont want. Not the case here. Chad made sure that I found a car that I would be truly happy with. He asked me all the right questions and I felt like he tried to get to know me in the time he was given. Even despite a snow storm...the worst Connecticut has seen since 1978...he worked things out so I could get my car asap. He even stayed at work to wait for me after Ed told him he could go home due to the snow just so I could get me car. Now that is dedication to the customer! What was important to me was that he listened to me, remembered little things that I said to him that most people would just over look and he treated me with respect. Other car dealers I have dealt with cast me aside because I'm a woman...not this place. They explained things thoroughly and answered any and all questions I had. Chad and I even exchanged cell phone numbers so we could keep in touch over the storm because his store was closed. Ed was also excellent. I didn't speak with him as much as I did with Chad, but the time I did have with him, he was respectful and helpful. He explained everything and offered me everything he could to make things as inexpensive as possible. Over all I would say I am highly satisfied with my visit, my purchase and my experience here. This is the first place I will go in the future when I need another car and yes I will be referring...directly to Chad. More

This winter was the time for my son to get his first car to use for college. Since his college was located a short distance from Quality Subaru, we zeroed in on their used inventory. Our salesman was R to use for college. Since his college was located a short distance from Quality Subaru, we zeroed in on their used inventory. Our salesman was Ralph, a low-key but very friendly and knowledgeable gentleman. We visited twice and on the second visit he suggested we try a Forester that had just come in. The car was immaculate (as are all the cars at Quality), drove great, and was being sold for below KBB. A great deal all around. Ralph was so concerned that my son and I would feel comfortable with the deal, that he even allowed me to speak to the previous owner. That’s customer service! True to the saying "it starts at the top", owner Joe Blichfeldt also spent time with us and showed he cared about our purchase. As a matter of fact everyone else we met with or spoke to, including Ed the finance guy, were courteous and knowledgeable. Buying a used car can be an anxious event, but our experience at Quality was calm without any “unexpected” information at delivery time. We live about 80 miles from Quality, but will certainly see them first for our next Subaru. More

We were looking for a used Subaru and found a reasonably priced 2010 Outback at Quality Subaru that met our requirements. We met with Gary Thompsen who was enthusiastic about Subaru in general and very knowledgeable about the Outback. His focus was more on informing us about the car rather than selling it to us. The dealership provided us with a complete history of the car and accomodated our few concerns about purchasing it. We financed the car through the dealership because Ed and Mike found us a great rate. Overall our experience at Quality Subaru was experienced, friendly and professional. More

I contacted this dealership by telephone shopping for the best price for a 2013 Outback, which I was buying for my son, a recent college graduate who just landed a job in Massachusetts. I live in Connecticut and thought it would be easier to buy the car here. I found Mr. Blichfeldt to be helpful and straightforward, and a gentleman. He offered a fair price without haggling when other dealers were several hundred dollars higher. Unfortunately, I would have had to order the exact car I wanted which meant waiting til the next shipment arrived several weeks later. My son said he couldn't wait that long. Mr. Blichfeldt suggested I might want to buy the car in Massachusetts near where my son lives, which I ultimately ended up doing, but I could not pass up the opportunity to write about my experience here.
