My experience began because my 2003 Forester needed work. I wish I had the names of the people in service who assisted me, because they all were amazing. I've had service done at other places that have not been communicative, e.g. I left my car for a Monday appointment and had to call Wednesday afternoon because I hadn't heard anything by then. My experience with Quality Subaru's service department was NOTHING like that. They called me the first day with an update, and while it took a week for my car to be fixed (there was a lot to do) someone called me every day to talk to me about what was happening, and what the price would be. I didn't mind that it took that much time because I knew what was happening, and I was treated well. Since my Forester is getting old, my husband and I decided to look at new cars too. I'd been thinking of getting something smaller, so wanted to look at the Impreza. Mike M. did a great job explaining all the features to us, both in the showroom and during a test drive. When we decided we would like to buy one, Mike W. stepped in and helped us by explaining all of the financing options available. Mike W. explained all the steps I needed to take, such as obtaining insurance, who to send the proof of insurance to, etc. so that we could have a stress free delivery. Being able to have the license plates on the car at delivery (and not having to wait in line at the DMV) was a really nice bonus. Following our purchase, my husband's 2005 Outback needed work. Again, we found the service department at Quality to be exceptional. They provided a ride to work for my husband when he dropped his car off. Phone calls keeping us informed of what type of service, and the price, came every day. After our wonderful experiences with two cars having service done at Quality, I can honestly say I would never take my car anywhere else. So now, my Forester is running beautifully, and is going to be making a trip to Wisconsin to live with our son.The Outback is also running like a top, and our new Impreza is everything we could have dreamed. We really loved working with Quality Subaru. More
I absolutely love Quality Subaru - Joe is an exceptional person - really cares about people and his customer's experience! This is reflected in every person at the dealership. Also, I live an hour away and have a Subaru dealership in my backyard but I continue to drive to Wallingford because of Joe and his team - not only to get a new car but also to service it!!! Also, love working with Mike Ward and Ed Chen as I am a three time Subaru owner and have had the pleasure of working with them in the past!!! I love Karen in the service department and everyone I have met has always been positive and helpful. I have brought my parents to Subaru for two cars and recommended friends along the way... Also, I had the pleasure to meet Ralph - he had also worked with my parents and was as nice as can be - very friendly and attentive!!! I was a previous Lexus and Audi owner (multiple cars) and I can honestly say that my experience with Joe has topped any experience with any other dealership in CT!!! I will always lease my cars from Joe as long as he is at the dealership!!! Thanks Joe and everyone at Quality - once again a VERY happy customer is driving a 2014 Forester!!! More
We purchased our Outback LL Bean Edition in 2001 at this dealership. Thanks to the great maintenance by their service department this car remains in excellent condition 13 years and more than 151,600 miles dealership. The lease on my 2011 Subaru Legacy was due to expire so I contacted various Subaru dealers via email for pricing on a 2014 Outback 2.5i Limited. Most of the dealers would just call and try to get you to visit them and get pricing. I did not want to drive around just to get pricing since I already knew what I wanted to purchase. Kristen and Peter from Quality Subaru were very helpful and got back to me with pricing for our Outback. They said they could also handle the return of my leased Legacy. We made an appointment to visit them and test drive the Outback. Gary Thomsen spent a great deal of time demonstrating all the features, options, buttons and their functions. My wife and I both drove the Outback in town and on the highway. It was the most extensive test drive we have experienced. Gary was a pleasure to work with. We returned to the dealership and ordered our Outback. When it arrived a couple of weeks later Gary called us and we made an appointment to pick it up. Gary and Mike Ward were very thorough in going over everything with us. Gary also took the time to help set our favorite radio stations, set up my Bluetooth, and program my garage door opener into HomeLink. Quality Subaru made to whole auto purchase process easy. More

I went to Quality Subaru on 1/28/2014 and asked Karen for pricing on work that needed to be done on my 2008 Outback. Karen along with Jeff helped to quote me my costs. The prices they gave me beat the local pricing on work that needed to be done on my 2008 Outback. Karen along with Jeff helped to quote me my costs. The prices they gave me beat the local repair shop estimate by over $1000.00. We booked the service for 1/30/2014 and when I picked up the car the bill was the same as the quote they gave me two days ago. I was on the internet just looking for info on the Forester from several dealers. That is where I met Gary who took me on a test drive. We spent about 10 minutes in the car just talking and going over all the options, buttons and their functions. I was impressed. Gary was very knowledgeable. Now I was ready for the test drive and absolutely fell in love with the Forester..now there's a problem we go back to the show room and I am not very optimistic talking about numbers after all I was just going for a test drive and really did not plan to buy. Gary worked his magic and asked how I would feel about buying and driving it home that day. I was ecstatic. The dealership was closing, but I was not rushed or pushed out of the show room because the sales men wanted to go home. Everything was explained in detail. The dealership was now closed Gary helped me clean out my car and helped set my favorite radio stations set up my Bluetooth. I felt like family and just because they made the sale Gary was following through the sale until I was ready to drive off the lot. I couldn't be happier and would recommend Quality Subaru More
