From the moment I stepped onto the Quality Subaru lot until I drove away with my used but AWESOME 2004 Suburu Forester this morning, I was impressed with the staff of Quality Suburu. Before stepping on the Quality Subaru lot I had visited the Toyota dealer down the street, and found the staff their to be somewhat pushy. While, at Quality Subaru, Gary Thomsen was friendly, fun, not at all pushly, and very willing to let me explore the lot. We talked briefly, and then he went and got the keys to 4-5 different cars. Over the course of an hour I drove 3 of them and Gary answered, in his easy going manner, all the questions I had. A few days later I came back with my husband; so that we did not have to wait around Joe Blichfeldt personally came with us on a test drive of the 2004 Forester. I decided this was the car for me and Joe and Gary were very helpful in getting the transactions started quickly so that we could get home before company arrived. On the day I arrived to pick up the car, Karen and Justin were both very friendly and gary did a great job of getting my vehicle ready for me. I had a great experience with Quality Subaru!!! More

I brought my car to Quality Subaru for the 30,000 mile service plus I was having a problem with the car shaking when I stepped on the brakes at 60 mph or more. I was very impressed with the friendly greeting I received as I signed in. The service agent took down all my information and concerns, asked if I needed a car as I was dropping off my car for the service, and then told me it would be about 5 minutes until the rental car would be there. The rental car was there as promised and I was able to leave and attend to my business. During the day I received a call from service telling me that my car had been serviced and I could come and pick it up. No waiting around everything was handled and the problem was explained to me and repaired. I found the Service at Quality above and beyond the service I had received where I purchased the car. I will continue to bring my subaru into Quality for service. More
This experience was by far an unexpected pleasure for both my wife & myself. Gary T. went above & beyond any job requirements needed to make us feel comfortable & knowledgeable about the vehicle. He went over every feature of the vehicles operation before the test drive & then again when we picked it up, so my wife felt very comfortable driving it & she was put at ease. He went over every manual & highlighted the features & important points that pertained to our model. That alone will be a lifesaver. He is by far a role model & an asset to Subaru. Justin C went over all the finances & also made us feel very comfortable, explaining everything & all offers. He had us laughing about his 3 year old learning to play hockey. He treated us like friends. Karen already scheduled our 1st service appointment, so we won't forget! We have never experienced buying a vehicle before where the employees & owner are so down to earth and treat you like a good friend. We felt like we were with family. Where can you go to buy a car and have the owner (Joe B.) make you lunch. That is what Joe B. the owner of Quality Subaru in Wallingford did! He makes a mighty fine Philly cheese steak sandwich with onions, horseradish, & sourcream!!!!! My wife needed a new vehicle since her mini-van was 12 years old and we decided not to sink any more money into it. We eliminated future mini-vans because they become a money pit after 5 years or so and years old and we decided not to sink any more money into it. We eliminated future mini-vans because they become a money pit after 5 years or so and we typically keep our cars 10 plus years. It took about 3 weeks to decide that the Subaru was the right vehicle. It got great grades from Consumer Reports and we were especially pleased with its previous reliability record. We test drove the Toyota RAV 4, The Mazda 5, and the Honda CRV and felt that the Outback and Forester were better. Plus, Subaru's AWD system was impressive. We looked at Dealerraters Connecticut Subaru dealers and decided after reviewing it that Quality Subaru made the most sense even though its an hour from where we live. The owner Joe Blichfeldt was as involved as anyone else and provided us with proof of the superiority of Subaru's AWD system and went out of his way to welcome us (including making a sandwich for my wife)! He struck us as a guy who really cares about his company and wants to please his potential buyers. Our salesman, Gary Thomsen was great. He obviously knows the vehicles and helped settle my wife behind the wheel of a new Subaru Forester. Mike Ward and Peter Zagorski were also instumental in helping us close the deal. They went out of their way to make my wife happy when she noticed a slight dent in the Forester that we were about to buy. Rather than argue with us they recommend that they get an identical vehicle from another nearby Subaru dealership. We bought the vehicle for less than the invoice price. I was very impressed to say the least. We have had the car about a month and my wife loves it. If Quality Subaru's service is anything like their sales department we will be doing business for a long time. Do yourself a favor. If you're going to buy a Subaru make sure you give Quality Subaru a visit! More
