MUST READ! BEWARE of Quality Chevrolet of Old Bridge, NJ. They STOLE a $1,000.00 deposit from us. I am completely appalled by their actions. On 09/21/2021 my fiancé and I went to the dealership to special or They STOLE a $1,000.00 deposit from us. I am completely appalled by their actions. On 09/21/2021 my fiancé and I went to the dealership to special order a corvette. Our sales rep. was Brian Toal. At first this man seemed like such a professional, nice, and down to earth gentleman. We built the corvette to our liking and were asked to leave a $1,000.00 deposit on the vehicle. Due to the microchip shortage we were told that the vehicle was estimated to be delivered February of 2022, but this was not promised. We specifically told Brian that if we found a vehicle sooner than later, would it be possible to get our deposit back and cancel the order. We were assured that even if the vehicle was in production, even if the vehicle was delivered to the dealership, if the car wasn’t to our liking or if we decided to cancel the order at any time, the deposit would be refunded in full. When my fiancé went to sign the contract I noticed the contract stated the deposits were non-refundable. I immediately questioned this. Brian assured us not to worry about the paperwork and that regardless of what the contract states we would get a full refund on the deposit if need be. Considering he seemed to be an honest man, and we trusted him because of his political affiliation with Clark, NJ Township my fiancé signed the paperwork. HUGE MISTAKE. I called the dealership to speak to Brian in November of 2021 to cancel our order and to have our deposit refunded as we found another vehicle. I originally spoke to the receptionist and explained the situation. Brian called me back in a fit of rage. A completely different man from whom we worked with the day we made the deposit on the vehicle. This man would not even let me speak. He spoke so rudely and condescendingly to me I was actually shocked. I’ve never in my life been spoken to that ever before and I’ve worked in customer service for years. He stated the car was in production already and we are not getting our deposit back. He then hung the phone up on me while I was still explaining we needed to go with a cheaper vehicle because my father suffered from strokes shortly after we made the deposit on the vehicle and his medical bills were unforeseen at the time. Regardless, he hung up on me. His unprofessionalism was completely uncalled for as I was kind to him on the phone whenever I was allowed to get a word in. Shortly after, I called the dealership to speak to the general manager, Bob Slater, the receptionist gave me the run around. I asked if the general manager was available and unless I told her what this conversation was in regards to, she would not transfer the call to him. I explained the situation and she told me the general manager wasn’t in. I asked for his schedule and she didn’t know his schedule. For days I was transferred to the general manager’s voicemail which is still full to this day 01/05/2022. My fiancé finally got in contact with Brian around 12/27/2021, Brian told my fiancé he would speak to the general manager and call us back. We are still waiting for a call. We are disgusted by the dishonesty of Brian Toal. You don’t make false promises just to make a sale. I’ve worked at a car dealership for over a year now and no matter the situation, every deposit is refunded. This dealership should be reported to GM for their unprofessionalism, dishonesty, and misconduct. Do not give this dealership your business. More
I went to this dealership to buy a new car. Vito sold me a used car as new. I purchased a 2021 Chevy Traverse and when I got home it had 4,217 miles on it. I received no compensation for that. I was able to get 0% for 72 months per my credit score and I was told the rebate of $3,064 was better. Not true with an interest rate of 4.49%. Don’t trust these liars! They are shady and will do anything to keep you there! More
Having decided to downsize but upgrade in luxury features from my Silverado Crew Cab Custom, I had been shopping online for a Chevy Equinox for a few weeks. Even though I live about 30 miles away from Quali from my Silverado Crew Cab Custom, I had been shopping online for a Chevy Equinox for a few weeks. Even though I live about 30 miles away from Quality Chevrolet, I decided on buying from them once I found an AWD Premier with all the packages and options I wanted at a very reasonable price after rebates. I called to make sure the vehicle was still available, and created my own deal and financing using Capital One online. I listed my suggested trade-in price on the Silverado, the price I wanted to pay for the car, and the monthly payment/term I wanted. I got to my appointment later on a Thursday evening. Andrew A. took me out for a test drive of the vehicle and was very personable. After one of the sales managers appraised my trade in, he offered me more than the price I was asking for it; I've never had that happen before. Since the finance manager had left for the evening (I had arrived almost at closing time), we arranged that I could pick up the car the next day. Andrew gave me his cell phone number in case I had any more questions, and we agreed on a time for pickup on Friday afternoon. When I arrived the next day, all the paperwork I needed to complete was ready to roll, on time, and they monthly payment was actually less than I had quoted to them for the same number of months. There was no pressure to upsell or buy anything else. We were done with paperwork in about 45 minutes and I was on my way. It was literally the easiest car buying experience I've ever had and I walked away with the exact vehicle I wanted at the exact price/payment I wanted and got slightly higher value for my trade in than I anticipated. Wonderful experience all around. More
