I have bought cars and trucks from Purvis over the last 25 years. I've always dealt with Barry Jones. I have always had a positive experience when dealing with Barry and the sales staff. When it comes to the Service Department is mostly good. The only issue I have is when I try to call they sometimes don't pick up or at least have a voice mail to leave a message. Tony Sims, one of the service writers has always helped me and made my service experience a positive one. Hence my overall rating is good. More

Whenever I bring in my truck for service, the team is ready to answer any questions. They expeditiously check in the vehicle, provide an explanation of what services will be performed, and ask me if anyt ready to answer any questions. Had an appointment at 9:00 am. When I pulled into the bay, my car was the only one there. Someone is usually there to greet you and check your car in. There was no one there and I When I pulled into the bay, my car was the only one there. Someone is usually there to greet you and check your car in. There was no one there and I waited for 10 minutes before going into the service office. There was one employee helping a lady that had arrived after me, another employee talking sports with a customer that was finished. Then there were at least 3 other employees starring at their computers screens as if they looked up the world would end. Finally the employee that was helping the lady that arrived after me got up and told her he would look at her car. As he passed me I asked him if anyone was working out in the bay area. He replied we all do but, we are busy. No one even said good morning we will be with you in a minute. Finally one employee asked why I was there. I won't go on as this was the worst customer service I ever received from any business! More
Visit was to address a recall (seat belt). Reserved a date and dropped the vehicle off the day prior. Worked with our Service Rep, Rosie. Called the next day late afternoon and found out they Reserved a date and dropped the vehicle off the day prior. Worked with our Service Rep, Rosie. Called the next day late afternoon and found out they had not status. Received a return call/update shortly after and was told "Rosie was off today and she never entered it into the system when it was brought in. Had to wait until the next day for pick-up. I commend Tony for rectifying this situation best he could. Imagine if every customer rep cost a client and extra day due to these type oversights. Next time I need service, I will ensure Rosie is NOT involved. Other than the vehicle repair went fine. More
