What A Mess Purvis Found I had purchased a 2016 Lincoln MKX with no bad reports on the Carfax. When Purvis replaced a headlamp assembly they uncovered a huge mess that a prior I had purchased a 2016 Lincoln MKX with no bad reports on the Carfax. When Purvis replaced a headlamp assembly they uncovered a huge mess that a prior dealer/owner had covered up. The car was actually in a front end collision and was put back together with tape, epoxy and left for junk. The Service Manager worked with the situation with a professional, knowledgable and extremely helpful attitude, which lessened the pain and disgust I was feeling over buying a vehicle that had been wrecked and hidden. Prior to this visit, I had visited with a sales agent there to go over the features of the car. Although I did not buy the car at Purvis, he took the time to sit with me and go over the car in its entirety, which he certainly did not have to do. Two thumbs up to Purvis on Sales and Service! Rough ride I took my F-150 into service because I continued to have a rough ride even after having my tires balanced. Bob took my truck in and discovered that I I took my F-150 into service because I continued to have a rough ride even after having my tires balanced. Bob took my truck in and discovered that I had one tire with permanent flat spots. This is normally handled by the selling dealership under the tire warranty. Purvis did not sell me the truck but Bob handled this for me anyway. After ordering and installing the new tire my truck rides smooth as butter. Thanks Bob. More

Refused to balance wheels on New F-150 I bought a new 2016 F-150 at a dealership an hour and a half from my home in Fredericksburg because they had the truck with the features I wanted at t I bought a new 2016 F-150 at a dealership an hour and a half from my home in Fredericksburg because they had the truck with the features I wanted at the end of the model year. On my way home I discovered that it had a rough ride. No problem I thought. I have driven enough over the years to recognize that my wheels were not properly balanced.. I dropped it at Purvis Ford in Fredericksburg to be taken care of the next day with an explaination on the night drop envelope. Next day I called the service dept. to discuss it and was told that it was a Ford policy not to take care of tires until you have over a 1000 miles on them. Believe me This pissed me off, but they would do nothing and told me I could take it back to the dealer I purchased it from for the service. Long story short I brought it to GoodYear where they offered to check the tires for free. Three of my four tires were out of balance. $69.00 later the truck runs great. I contacted my salesman about and the original dealership is going to reimburse me. Purvis will never get my business except for warranty work. Believe me. More
Great Service Experience I am the original owner of a 1997 Ford Expedition. Over the past 2 years I have taken my Ford to 4 different shops to try and fix several engine rela I am the original owner of a 1997 Ford Expedition. Over the past 2 years I have taken my Ford to 4 different shops to try and fix several engine related problems. (Engine surge, check engine lights) The engine problems got so bad I finally gave up and had my Ford towed to Purvis Ford for repair. I was not sure that a dealer would even look at a vehicle that was 20 years old or if parts were available. The Service Advisor Frank Stewart assured me that they would work me to get my truck back on the road. The Technicians were able to diagnose a bad PCM and coil packs. The PCM (computer) was no longer available from Ford Parts but Purvis as able to obtain a replacement PCM and reprogram it to work with my truck. After I picked up my truck, I could not believe how well the truck drove and how smooth the engine ran. My Expedition has not run this well in years and the new PCM seemed to have fixed all my previous issues I had as well. Thank you Purvis Ford. Mike Offerjost More

Great customer service!!! Purvis Ford has the best services dept in town. I brought my Edge in and was told by Bob that that the earliest it could be looked at was the next Mon Purvis Ford has the best services dept in town. I brought my Edge in and was told by Bob that that the earliest it could be looked at was the next Monday, but he would fit me in that Wednesday so that Purvis could diagnosis the problem and order parts if needed. Bob got sick and my service guy was Andrew. Andrew was awesome!!! He keep me informed of the whole process. He was polite and professional. When I needed to chase down a maintenance receipt he offered to call Pohanka to have it fax to the office. That is great customer service!!!! This is the guy I want to come back to over and over again! Purvis has really great people working for them...I have never had a bad experience there. More
