undmann Ford opened it's doors on April 25, 1925, in St. Charles on the corner of Jefferson and Second streets as one of the first automobile dealerships in the area. Pundmann endured the Great Depression, World War II and in 1951 moved to their second location at 1001 North Second Street.
In 1968 Pundmann Motor Co made its final move to 2727 West Clay to where it now sits today. Additionally, the dealership is still owned and operated by the Pundmann Family. Pundmann Motor Company's approach to business has always stayed the same, Pundmann People Care. It is because of this approach that our store has received national recognition for our excellence in customer service.

They were very accommodating to my requests, providing solutions and/or explanations along the way. Ethan did a great job of birddogging my questions and handling the logistics around the delivery. Loren (Financing / Closure) was awesome. He took the time to explain what I was signing and answered all of my questions. I had a few follow-up items after the purchase, and he took the time to send me brochures and discuss details on the phone - definitely above and beyond compared to other car purchase experiences I have had. Finally, the F150 is amazing. Love the quality and technology that Ford delivers. The only critique I have (for Ford) is while the Blue Cruise technology is very nice, it is pricy. I hope that they drop the price or offer promotions on that service in the future so it can fit into my budget. More

After some initially slow communication, Pundmann Ford answered the call by negotiating fairly, quickly addressing any concerns with the vehicle, and making the financing and delivery process as seamless as possible. We especially appreciated the no-pressure approach to educating us on the different warranty options and ultimately purchased our first extended warranty in 20 years. The truck was nicely prepped and ready for delivery upon arrival, and at no point were we left sitting for hours in the showroom as is so common at other dealers. Nice work, Pundmann team! More

We purchased our new 2025 Ford Explorer ST-Line from Jack Schellenger, our salesman at Pundmann Ford in St. Charles, Missouri late in the afternoon on October 3, 2024. After driving 6 miles to a Costco Ware Schellenger, our salesman at Pundmann Ford in St. Charles, Missouri late in the afternoon on October 3, 2024. After driving 6 miles to a Costco Warehouse, our new car died as soon as we parked it on the Costco parking lot. I called Jack and he and Tim Pundmann, the General Sales Manager for Pundmann Ford, came over to help. It was after hours for their dealership by then. They tried to work on it but to no avail. Tim gave us Jack’s 2025 Ford Explorer ST-Line car to use to drive our 2-hour trip home. We chose to stay close at our daughter’s home in St. Charles instead. Tim called an Uber to take Jack home and stayed there with our car until the tow truck he called arrived. All of the electronics on our new car had quit working so the doors couldn’t be locked and the passenger window was down and wouldn’t go up. Tim waited with our car at least 1-1/2 hours until the tow truck came to haul it to his dealership so they could put it inside for the night. Jack called me the next morning around 9:30 am to let me know they had repaired it and we could pick it up around 11:00 am. We did and it has ran great since then. We didn’t expect the high level of personal service provided to us by Jack Schellenger and Tim Pundmann. They definitely went over and above to help us and get us back on our way home. I'm having warranty issues with the sound system in my band new $80,000 truck. Took it to one dealer and they kept blaming Ford engineering for taking to long. I take it Pundmann as per the Ford claims de band new $80,000 truck. Took it to one dealer and they kept blaming Ford engineering for taking to long. I take it Pundmann as per the Ford claims department. They have no clue how to fix it. They tell me to bring it up for two weeks because they need to take apart the whole truck and trace all the wires etc. I show up over a week later to get something out of my truck fully expecting the truck to be inside the shop taken apart being worked on. They handed me my keys and said it was in the lot. I go out to my truck and it has a nice layer of dust all over it like it hasn't moved since I dropped it off. Been dealing with this for 7 months. Zero sound system with no resolution. More
