Knowledgeable Employees I chose Progressive Chevrolet from the yellow pages, and I had no idea what to expect. First off, I was able to schedule an appointment online, which I chose Progressive Chevrolet from the yellow pages, and I had no idea what to expect. First off, I was able to schedule an appointment online, which was really great. I arrived on time and was greeted by Service Advisor Patrick Kline. I expressed my concern about my passenger seat not being able to adjust forward or backwards. Patrick quickly went to work on the issue. To my surprise he found that there was also recall on my vehicle, and was able to explain exactly what the recall was and how it could effect the operation of my vehicle. There was very little paperwork to complete, the vehicle was quickly taken into the service area, and in no time at all it was ready. Patrick was able to explain what was fixed on my vehicle, and that really impressed me. Progressive Chevrolet has just won over a new customer, and I will definately refer my friends and family. I had been looking 6 months before seeing a great deal on exactly what I was looking for. I had to have it, but at an affordable monthly rate. James and Tom were extremely patient while working with me, and Fran was wonderful! James made sure I left with what I wanted, Tom made sure everything went smoothly, and Fran worked her magic with the bank and made sure the payments were exactly what I had asked for in the beginning. No hassles, no pushing, no gimmicks - just great people who want to see you drive away in the vehicle you came in to purchase. I also want to say the gentleman who was with me on the test drive (I don't know the area that well) was kind and quiet - not trying to sell me something. The environment as soon as we walked in was so welcoming and right away we knew we were in the right place. Tom Schmidt was great! He took the time to really understand exactly what we were looking for in a car and already had a few keys on his desk so we could get started test driving right away. We were able to really figure out which car we liked the best because he didnt rush us to make a decision. He showed us around Massillon because we had recently just moved to the area and he wanted us to know where all the great places were which I really enjoyed. We learned so much about the Equinox as well!! He even brought me some things I had forgotten to get at the dealership right to my work and said that when my plates came in he would come and put them on for me. Which I thought was gerat!! James Rowe was great as well. He worked so hard to make sure that we got the best customer service as well! He helped me with everything so that I fully understood exactly what I was doing. He even called to check in on Monday to see how the first weekend with the car was and also to see how I was doing because Tom and James both knew that I had just found out that I had lost someone very close to me early that morning which I think is true customer service in my eyes. It made a lasting impression on me. Last but not least, Jason Allman was fantastic! He worked tirelessly on our paperwork and with the banks to make sure that we got the best rates and the best deal! We left Thursday night and went back to finish Friday night and he said that he was actually able to get us a better warranty on the Equinox! It really made an impression on us that someone would take so much time to make sure that we got the best of the best! I normally do not like dealerships or the car buying process but Progressive Chevrolet went above and beyond what I ever expected!!! Going above and beyond for their customers On July 1st I went in for an oil change. What I was not expecting was my rear breaks to be completely unusable and kind of floating around in there, o On July 1st I went in for an oil change. What I was not expecting was my rear breaks to be completely unusable and kind of floating around in there, or for my rotors to be rusted and chipped beyond repair. What I had expected to be a low 30 dollar bill soon turned into almost 400 dollars worth of work. My service advisor Patrick made sure to keep me informed with every detail along the way and could see my day going from good to worse every time he came to speak with me. Knowing that I had purchased my car in 2014 from them he started speaking with the managers and owner, which lead to me meeting with one of the service managers and then the owner as they told me they were going to cover everything but my oil change that I had come in for, stating that the car should not have left the lot in the condition that it had with the rear rotors and that they were indeed sorry about the inconvenience and hoped this would help. Needless to say, everyone that I spoke with that day, especially Patrick went above and beyond during my visit to the dealership! And I am extremely grateful! More
