Worst purchasing experience ever! Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had in purchasing a vehicle. I certainly hope it wasn't because I am a young woman who went in to purchase alone but after the way I was treated I tend to lean toward that being a factor. They blatantly tried to trick me, asked me to sign a paper that the salesperson drew an X on to show that I was serious before taking it upstairs and even asked for a credit card or cash to take with the "offer" to make it look like I was ready to buy. Also, I am pretty confident that they created a false document that showed the blue book on my trade because I sure can't find the price they showed me anyplace else and then when that failed they sent the "closer" in to try some more trickery to get me to buy. I walked out and suggest that you not make the mistake of even walking in. I went to another dealership the same day and got the same exact vehicle for the price that they assured me that no lot would take. More
Awesome experience overall I traded in my 05 Nissan Altima and got approved for a loan for a 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer. This car is immaculate inside an out with only 30k miles! Progressive was very easy to work with and we shook on a deal that we were both very happy about. Everyone was very nice especially Nate, Wally, Roger Sellers, and Jason Allman. I would recommend Progressive to anyone looking for a quality vehicle at a very fair price. More

Repair Satisfaction I took my Malibu in to find why I had a soft rub noise on the front right and they found the problem and all is good. That is not all---The service r I took my Malibu in to find why I had a soft rub noise on the front right and they found the problem and all is good. That is not all---The service representative provided a loan car for the day so I could continue my business as a realtor. And that is not all---the next morning, while the loaner was in my possession, I locked the keys in the car. I was so frantic what to do and had planned to be at an appointment soon. My husband called Sherry Longwill, our rep, and she said "I will get right back to you". She did just that--she contacted OnStar and arranged for the car to be connected and had it unlocked for me and made it to my appointment. Sherry is a STAR in my eyes! My husband and I have always had great service with Sherry over the years, but this was above and beyond her call of duty. Thank you Sherry! More

I was enthusiastically greeted by (Rachel) Ray Robertson. Ray was pleasant to deal with, and answered all of my questions confidently and without hesitation. She was terrific. I had not had occasion to make a vehicle purchase in some years. Ray made the purchase/buying experience seamless and hassle-free, It made for a great experience all-around. Thank you, Ray. More

Drove from Pittsburgh to Massilon I checked online for the vehicles I was interested in. The Cleveland/Akron market is much more competitive than the Pittsburgh market. I called 4-5 I checked online for the vehicles I was interested in. The Cleveland/Akron market is much more competitive than the Pittsburgh market. I called 4-5 dealers prior to making the trip. I made soft appointments at 3 dealers including Progressive. I spoke with Kyle and we had a tentative appointment at noon on Thursday. I researched and knew the price I was willing to pay for each of the 4 cars that I wanted to see this day. I also wanted prices on extended warranties prior to my visits. I stopped at the first dealer on Thursday morning, they took up too much of my time with "car salesman talk/tactics." I felt like I needed a shower after this. I excused myself and we left. I called Kyle at Progressive, let him know I was running late. When I arrived at 1:00 my wife and I were met by Sean. Sean let me know that Kyle shares duties between the dealerships and was busy. Sean was aware of my appointment. Sean was pleasant through the entire meeting. Really a super easy guy to deal with. The car was ready for a test drive in less that 5 minutes. We took a 10 minute drive. We sat down at Sean's desk and he came back with information on a monthly payment. I told him I was I wasn't interested in monthly payment information, only the bottom line price on the vehicle. Once again, I knew what I was willing to pay. I told him the price, he made one trip to the person in charge of accepting the offers. Came back with a yes. Next was the ringing of the bell. Corny, but my wife rang the bell. She laughed. When she rang the bell my feelings shifted from corny to fun. She liked it. I quietly went outside and made a call and cancelled the appointment at dealer #3. Next was paperwork and extended warranty with Jason. Another painless experience. Progressive did as I requested and had already called me with the price and details of the extended warranty. I met Jim who I assume was in charge of the pricing. Nice guy. We arrived at 1:00. Everything was completed at 3:10. Sean had some gas put in the tank and we were done at 3:20. I couldn't believe it! Under 2 1/2 hours to complete everything. Everyone was great. The bottom line is they were quick to accept the offer. No back and forth. Will absolutely recommend! When I'm car shopping in the future I will certainly check out their inventory and make the trip. More
