Terri was professional We are lifelong Honda Owners. My 72 year old mother just got her 4th Honda (Civic) and worked with Terri through this process. Terri was professional and funny. She is down to earth, and she will be honest with you. She's helped my mom tremendously. and she has continued to follow up with my mom to make sure everything was ok. I live here in town, but if I didn't- Terri is the kind of person you wouldn't worry about sending your family member to. She was great in every sense of the word. More

He took his time expla Shout out to Christopher for going above and beyond with customer service. He is a knowledgeable (and patient) service advisor. He took his time explaining what services I needed and when I picked my car up, reviewed the multi point checklist with me and dealt with all my questions. I typically will work with the first available advisor but now that I have a rapport with Christopher, I will schedule appointments in advance. You can tell Christopher loves his job and his customers! More

Proctor Honda conducts malicious business practices I had my mom's car towed to Proctor Honda in Tallahassee Florida, 2373 W Tennessee St, Tallahassee, FL 32304, just before the middle of February to I had my mom's car towed to Proctor Honda in Tallahassee Florida, 2373 W Tennessee St, Tallahassee, FL 32304, just before the middle of February to have them diagnose the ECM ( computer ) because I thought it to be faulty after having spent two months working on the car myself. The car has been non-operational since the beginning of December in 2017. I have replaced the temperature sensor, the cam shaft sensor, the crank shaft sensor, and the throttle position sensor. I swapped all of these parts out mainly to trouble shoot the codes that I was getting from the code reader. I was only able to get the car to start after reseating the cable to the immobilizer ( this reads the chip in the key ) in which the car only was able to be started after 4 attempts before it could not be started and then I would have to wait a few days before I could start it again. The computer kept changing what part was throwing an error between every time I could get it to start, which led me to believe that the computer was bad. I had replaced the crank shaft sensor and the cam shaft sensor with a new Honda part that I had ordered on line. The parts were installed on the car two weeks before I had it towed to Proctor Honda and the car had not been in use since I had installed them. I told my repair representative, Zack, everything that I had done to it and only wanted them to diagnose the computer. I did not hear from Proctor Honda after 3 days and called. I talked to Zack in which he told me that the car starts up but that the cam sensor was bad and needed to be replaced. I again told him that was not the case and that I would like to have the computer diagnosed. I went through two more calls exactly like the first call as if he was not listening to what I was requesting to be done. I ended up driving up to Proctor Honda to speak to him in person. Zack gave me the same answer that he had been giving me. I did get a more stern tone with him and flat out told him that if they are unable to diagnose the computer, to just go ahead and replace it. I also requested that the immobilizer be replaced. Zack was reluctant to order and started to mention that it would be expensive. I told him I know and told him the price that I had already looked up before I brought the car in. He did finally get me a price list that was close to $1500.00 to which I agreed to. I would have replaced the computer myself but Honda Dealerships with a repair department are the only facilities that have the equipment to program the body code, the immobilizer, the ECM, and the keys to work with together. On Thursday 3-1-2018 Zack called me and informed me that they had replaced the parts that I had requested and that the cam sensor was the issue. I asked is it? In which Zack said yes the part is broken. I asked what do you mean broken? Zack said that the mechanic looked at it and said that the part is loose and that it is broken. I told Zack I do not believe that and that if it was broken then they broke it. He kept denying it. I was able to get in contact with the manager in which he defended them and said that they do not operate that way and would never do such a thing. He said that I kept refusing to allow them to change the part they said was defective. I tried to explain again that was not the case and they kept avoiding diagnosing the ECM as I had originally asked. He then said that I could just have them replace the part they said was broken. I again told him that the part was not broken and that it is a brand new Honda part that I had installed before having the vehicle towed there and they would have had to have broken the part. He again denied any wrong doing. I told the manager that I do not believe him or trust that facility and they are not to touch that car any longer and that I will have it towed away from there after I pay for the parts that I requested as long as they have proof they actually performed what I had requested. He suggested that I cut my losses and pay for the parts I asked for and remove the vehicle. After paying for the service bill on Saturday 3-3-2018, I had the car towed to my mom's and inspected the access area to the cam shaft sensor. I found the sensor was broken. I carefully unplugged the connector to the sensor and immediately noticed a flat marred indentation on the outside of the connector of what looks like a tool was used to force the sensor into a broken state physically. I have taken a photo of the connector that is clearly showing the mark. I would consider myself very mechanically inclined. I have taken the transmission out of this vehicle and completely disassembled it, cleaned every part, installed new seals and a filter from a rebuild kit that I had purchased online, and reinstalled it. The original filter was clogged and would not allow fluid to flow. The car’s transmission has been running great ever since my rebuild. I am very meticulous when it comes to anything that I do. I know that the cam sensor was installed correctly and in working order before I had the car towed to Proctor Honda. Now I have a new cam sensor that has been physically broken by Proctor Honda and they have no intention to correct this issue honestly. I will never be able to get my time back for installing the cam sensor and will now have to perform this repair again. There is no telling how many other people that they are wrongfully conducting repairs for. More
