I should have known to just go to Proctor to begin with when I started shopping for a new car. My parents, who are now deceased, always used Proctor and I have owned other Hondas in the past. I was looking for a two door sports model and considered getting a Nissan Altima. The local Nissan dealership was not willing to negotiate a fair price. The sales person kept running back and forth to his manager which was irritating me when I was ready to pay cash on delivery. The final price was around $20,000. He didn't want me to walk out of there because I told him I was headed to Honda to see what kind of deal I would get at Proctor looking at the 2 door Accord. I'm so glad I did not let him "talk" me into the Nissan that afternoon. When I got to Proctor there was no pressure and the price was outstanding. With the 5 year warranty I paid less than 20,000. Mark and Tony were awesome and I felt like they were looking out for my best interest. I told them what I had been through at Nissan and explained to them I didn't want to quibble that I wanted bottom line first go around. When he wrote up the price breakdown, I wanted to fall out of my seat. I was sold from the moment I walked in. I would have bought the car that Saturday but I had to get some insurance stuff straightened out. On Monday afternoon I walked out with a car I am proud to drive. I get so many compliments on my Accord and love every minute of driving it. I wish you could have seen the look on my son's face when I pulled up to pick him up from school that day - it was priceless! Thanks guys for a great experience. When I met Ray the first time, he wanted to know about me and my family. He did not pressure me and listened carefully for my needs. My Mother-in-Law is handicapped and I told her about Ray and Proctor's sales technique of no pressure. When she met Ray, that's all it took. She just needed someone to care and understand her needs and went to work for her. When I bought my daughters car on her Birthday, I told Ray that I was coming in and that my daughter didn't now she was getting a new car. He kept the secret and played right along with our little game with my daughter. He showed her several cars and then she found the one she wanted and he told her it was hers. We took pictures and he will be a part of our family album for ever. After my first car that I bought from Ray, I found that I don't even have to worry about the price as Ray always works fairly with me and I trust him to work for me. Every time I go in for service, I look for Ray to say hello. I enjoy his conversations and his professionalism. He always asks about my Wife, Daughter, and Mother-in-Law and ask me to say hello to them....every single time. All of which are very happy with their new vehicles! My original reason for the visit was to just browse the inventory. However, I got such a good deal from Proctor Honda, I ended up signing a contract for a new Pilot before I left that same day. Plus, anytime Hank was in the back getting paperwork together, the sales manager, Tony would come by and chat. Tony took a personal interest in my hobbies and that made the time fly by so fast. Both of them were so genuine and helpful. I really appreciated the customer service from this dealership. I was so impressed with the level of personal care I received from Tony & Hank that I still drop by to say "hey" every now & then. I recommend Proctor Honda to anyone looking for a car.
