Mark Poole made my visit to Proctor Honda so easy. I live 2 1/2 hours from Tallahassee. He quoted me a price over the phone and when I finally got there the price was still the same. I went to Proctor Honda looking for a 2009 Pilot, everyone I ran across was very polite. I scheduled a test drive via email and when I showed up Michael Grindberg was ready and we took a drive and I everyone I ran across was very polite. I scheduled a test drive via email and when I showed up Michael Grindberg was ready and we took a drive and I left, there was no pressure and he did not question me albeit he did answer all of mine. I came in the next day and told him what I wanted and he brought it over for my inspection and we started the process. Before he looked at my trade in he asked what I expected to get for it and I told him a range. When he came back the trade in value was higher than my expectation which was a surprise and showed me that they were honest so I knew I would buy their product. One gentleman even made me some coffee while I was with the finance officer, he noticed that I was interrupted while making my coffee so he asked how much sugar and creamer and brought it to me. They did not stick me in a cubicle; I felt free to roam around while waiting and I did. The receptionist had copies of a crossword puzzle at her desk and they have snacks and drinks. All in all it was a great experience and I would highly recommend it to even the most skeptical car buyer. More
My fiance, Heather Harris, and I visited Proctor Honda in 2008. We purchased a pre-owned, certified CRV. Mark Poole helped us with the purchase and really put us at ease while we were there. Much different than car salesmen we've dealt with in the past... you know the kind... beads of sweat rolling down their foreheads, the "pitch", and the impetuous approach that can be such a turnoff to regular everyday people like me and Heather. We'll be back to see Mark for our next vehicle. The Service department perpetuates the positive experience we've had with Proctor Honda. Rocky and James (and the rest of the staff) take the time to explain what the car needs when we bring it in for service while helping work with the warranty to make sure things are covered. There aren't many service dpartments that will take the time to do that for customers, especially in such a fast-paced environment. Again, they treat us like people... keeps us coming back. I have been buying cars from Proctor Honda since 1998. The employees here are almost like family to my wife and I. In particular, our salesperson, Dave Csaba, is one of the most pleasant and knowledgeable guys to work with in buying a car. There is no pressure to "get you into" any particular model. He asks what are you looking for and then tries his best to find a car and deal that suits your budget. It is almost not fair for us to write a review as this is the 8th car we have bought or leased from Proctor (including 2 for my daughter) since 1998. Each time we were greeted by various employees in a friendly manner, offering us cold drinks or coffee and asking us if they could help. The service department is as good as the sales section-always helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. On top of all that, Honda cars sell themselves. We have never brought one of our Honda's in for anything other than routine maintenance. We have owned 2 Civics, 2 CR-V's, and 4 Accords-all from this dealership. More

They sent us away with a freshly cleaned car filled with gas even though I was the driver that used the gas depleted from the tank. I have already suggested relatives drive down from Atlanta to purchase their next vehicle. More

Keeping me constantly up to date with the lender and the dealer, so that I was aware of what I need. In all, from the time I test drove the Civic Si Thanksgiving weekend, to when I got the car, last weekend, he was constantly helping me and working with the finance manager at the dealership. I had previously mentioned my credit, well I wasn't able to get the black 4-door Si, but he kept an eye out for me and got me the same year in a 2-door blue. Within minutes it grew on me more than the black because the blue just had more character and looked far sportier in the 2-door option. The things that mattered the most when it came to my salesmen was that he never gave-up even when I wanted to and he was kind and well informed, not just about my finacial situation and how it related to the lenders, but also the automobiles themselves. He made my first car purchase an enjoyable one. I would come back to Proctor Honda to buy my next car. More
I've know Mr. Young for almost 20 years and I purchased my 1st car through Mr. Young. I was really nervous about purchasing a car. I've always been told that a woman should never ever go to the car lot a my 1st car through Mr. Young. I was really nervous about purchasing a car. I've always been told that a woman should never ever go to the car lot alone, because the car dealer(s) would take advantage of her. So I decided to go alone and when I arrived at the car dealership, I'll never forget Donny's wonderful smile and how friendly, professional and knowledgeable he was about the product he was selling. To make a long story short, whenever my family or friends need to purchase a car I will always refer them to Mr. Young. Thank you Donny so much for helping me as well as my family with our purchases. My husband and I had an awsome buying experience with Proctor Honda. I first connected with Terri Rutledge online, who was very patient with me and provided me with all the answers to my questions. And I had a lot of questions, as we had not yet determined which model we were interested in purchasing. After about a month, and many e-mails back and forth, my husband and I made it into the dealership. Once again, Terri was very patient with us, gave us time to look at all the different models, and explained to us all the pros and cons of each, as it pertained to our specific needs. Patrick was the finance manager who worked with us on our purchase. He was just as helpful, and made a process that is almost as cumbersome as buying a house, seem like a breeze. We ultimately ended up with an Accord and love it! We've always been big Toyota fans, but they may be hard pressed to get our business back. Honda may just have a new client for life, if all our dealings go that smoothly. Thanks Terri and Patrick. We appreciate you! More
