To begin with. I hate car dealers and going to any type of car lot. Best dressed legitimate thugs you'll ever meet. However, Wes was the exception. I was expecting to be pressured, turned, handed over of car lot. Best dressed legitimate thugs you'll ever meet. However, Wes was the exception. I was expecting to be pressured, turned, handed over to another salesman, so I could folk out more money. Not Wes. Wes presented me with 3 down payment options and within those options I could choose different terms. At no time did he try and talk me into anything nor made me feel like I wasn't putting enough down. Wes gave me what I wanted, at the price I wanted and the car my wife fell in love with. I felt like I was in control of my purchase. Proctor Honda seems to have figured out that the days of car salesmen high pressure tactics don't work anymore. I highly recommend this dealership and more importantly Wes. More

Terri Rutledge was a pleasure to deal with. She was very well informed about the models we were interested in, unlike some other salespeople at other dealerships, and answered all our questions. The casual, well informed about the models we were interested in, unlike some other salespeople at other dealerships, and answered all our questions. The casual, low-pressure atmosphere was appreciated. Terri made sure our new Honda Fit was properly prepped, set up, and delivered to us just as we had asked. More
The price I got it in was great. The customer service of all the workers were also great. They tend to be open minded about all the issuers and they work with you. I loved the car I got. It looks very neat all the workers were also great. They tend to be open minded about all the issuers and they work with you. I loved the car I got. It looks very neat (Honda civic 2010). I only thing I didn't like is they didn't give me enough for the trade in for my hold car. More

I was in the market for a new SUV and had narrowed my choices to Honda, Chevy and Toyota. Of the three dealer in Tallahassee, Honda was the easiest to work with in the beginning. I decided to try the Int choices to Honda, Chevy and Toyota. Of the three dealer in Tallahassee, Honda was the easiest to work with in the beginning. I decided to try the Internet Car Pricing option to see how much easier and better the price would be. The Proctor Internet Sales Rep contacted me shortly after my inquiry and we started to discuss wants, needs and price, all was going well. I wanted to lease the new vehicle instead of purchase so we discussed this based on the total cost of the suv. He came back with a price that was a little high and we turned to negotiations. We were within a few hundred dollars of a final price, but he did not have the car on the lot and would have to search for it. I was looking for a Gold Pilot Ex Model with tan leather interior, sun roof and a few other add-ons. So I left and waited to hear back from him. I am a person willing to get the best price for what I want so I decided to reach out to some other dealers in the area, Thomasville, Jacksonville, Warner Robbins just to name a few. Most of the places I contacted did not have the color or style I was looking for. Proctor called me back and said that they couldn't locate the vehicle that I wanted. But I kept trying other dealers through their websites. Panama City Honda contacted me almost immediately after I sent them a message. They had the exact color, style and trim I wanted. So I began to negotiate and they came down to my price. I called Proctor to see why they couldn't find the car I wanted when Panama City (which is only a hour and half drive) had it and to see if they would be willing to match the price. The Internet Rep for Proctor basically told me to "go pound sand!" because they weren't interested in matching the price. I just couldn't believe they would lose a local sale over a few hundred dollars. Their attitude became "we are the only Honda dealership you should buy from no matter the price." I was shocked! Not only did Panama City Honda have everything I wanted but the vehicle actually had a few add-ons (cargo mat, sunroof visor) that they didn't charge me for. Plus, since I did all of my negotiations over the phone I was in and out of the dealership in a little over an hour! Unbelievable! As far as I am concern, I will never purchase a car from Proctor. My parents and I came in to but a new Honda Civic, and recieved amazing service! We had already done some looking around and by this point I new what I wanted. Phil at Proctor Honda let us take the lead a recieved amazing service! We had already done some looking around and by this point I new what I wanted. Phil at Proctor Honda let us take the lead and in a very short period of time I was test driving the car I new I wanted. This was merely my introduction to my new baby! Since my parents would be leaving the next day, Phil made sure to explain the warranty information to to me so that in their absence I could be sure my car got the best care as well as me. I discovered while I was there that I new a couple that worked there, only justifying that it must be a good place to be a part of. I left the dealorship with insurance, tags, and a clean, fueled up car happy as could be! I look forward to letting the team there insure that I enjoy my new car for a very long time and will most definitely recommend the Proctor team to anyone in the market for a new car! Thanks guys!! My "Very Bad" rating and the would-not-recommend reflects the way Wayne C dealt with me, Not the way Mary Smith has. Last fall, I'd test-driven an Insight, and Frank Johnson gave me his card. When I came in the way Wayne C dealt with me, Not the way Mary Smith has. Last fall, I'd test-driven an Insight, and Frank Johnson gave me his card. When I came in on Sat, Feb 13, needing to replace my '95 Corolla that had been totaled two nights before when a kid ran a stop sign, this Mr. C. greeted me at the door and told me F.J. had moved over to the Subaru site. When I asked him specifically how Consumer Reports rates the Insight alongside the Prius, Mr. C. said they rate them basically the same -- but later that day I checked and found out that they don't, not atall. When I went back in, I asked him about it and he mentioned this other clipping, from another source, that he'd given me, and acted as if Consumer Reports was so exotic that he hadn't ever gotten around to checking. More recently, of course, I saw several printouts of very recent info from the Consumer Reports website, simply sitting on the table in the customer-seating area for potential customers to pick up and read, emphasizing that the April New Cars issue of their magazine praises Hondas in general -- so I know that your sales staff can't be strangers to what Consumer Reports has to say. That's one complaint about a basic lack of honesty, and here's another: in dealing with Mary Smith, whom a friend highly recommended, I checked to make sure I could put at least part of my down payment on AmEx, as Mr. C. had assured me about a week earlier that I could, but she said it wasn't so. So please understand my disappointment when it came time to sign the actual paperwork and I saw that this guy who has twice been less than honest with me is apparently getting a share of the commission on my new Civic Hybrid. Good for him, I suppose. --D.M. More
