We dealt with Kobe mainly, and Bert, then Mike in finance; they were all very friendly, honest and efficient. I came in to trade my vehicle in with my 3 young children. We brought our 2009 CRV in for service. We had been discusing trading and had decided to keep our current vehicle. While waiting, we took a walk around Proctor Honda's showroom to look at the 2011 mod discusing trading and had decided to keep our current vehicle. While waiting, we took a walk around Proctor Honda's showroom to look at the 2011 models on display. Then we sat down in the waiting area, when we saw our salesman Wayne Cowling. We purchased our 2007 and 2009 CRVs with Wayne. He said he could offer us a great deal on a new 2011 CRV. We really liked the 2009, but we agreed to run the numbers and see what it looked like. It turned out that we could trade the 2009 with 49,000 miles for a new 2011 for less money then I was currently paying. We just couldn't say no. We now have a beautiful new red 2011 CRV. The new vehicle also as 4 wheel drive, which will come in handy when we visit our children in Arizona. More

Thomas (Obe) Obermann was great! I was given a price in an email in response to an Internet inquiry. The price was great! There were no add-ons like "mop and glow". There were no expensive floor mats, pin-striping, or luggage racks added to the Cr-V like my local Honda dealer. I just wanted the basic Honda CR-V LX in Opal Sage. Obe had one left and he saved it for me for a couple of weeks. Obe was honest, friendly, and helpful. The experience was great. I drove 200 miles from where I live to get this great deal. I will be buying my next Honda from Proctor Honda and hopefully from Thomas Obermann. More

The experience of buying a new car at Proctor Honda was a positive one. It was the easiest transfer I have ever made when purchasing a car. I first contacted ProctorHonda via their website regarding 2011 Honda Civic EX and received call from their salesperson next day. Then I visited them at the dealer and took the test drive. It was later that I sat down for discussing the financial matters that I realized I was being setup. Firstly they gave me an estimation of around $365/month for 60mths with downpayment of $4000. I repeatedly asked them what the APR was that was being quoted, but the sales guy kept on saying it's less than 6% and to know exactly how much, I would need to fill up the credit application. I did as he said and told him specifically give me a .9% APR as advertised on their website. In the meantime, the salesguy asked me if the quote of $365/mth was within my price range and I should go with that since it's a good deal. I just got a job with $70k/yr. It was no biggie for me to pay off that loan, but I was cautious as to how they tried to hide the APR from me or even show me the maths. He pushed me to take the offer that day, but I resisted saying I need to take time and will come back tomorrow after he has figured out if I qualified for .9% or not. And he said come back next day as he will have to work it out with the Honda financing section. Back in home I did the maths and realized the figure they gave me was way over the regular price. The MSRP was around 22000 and with $4000, I was still going to pay an interest of nearly $4000. Next day, instead of showing up directly I decided to call first. It turns out that the salesperson still hadn't processed the application or submitted for review to the Honda Financing Section and demanded that I show up my copies of SSN, job offer letter and blah blah even before they can submit my application. I was pissed up but hung up politely saying I will get back to them again. It was deliberate attempt to con me with high price. At no time during these two days they ever contacted the main Honda Financing Dept. All the paper works that they took was never actually used and their quote was just ad hoc and trying to sell me at the highest price. They waited till next day until I contact them to tell me what paper works I needed before they could have decided the APR that I qualify! It's the bare minimum thing they should have told me even before I had asked for and the fact that they wasted my entire time, I didn't find them serious enough. If this is the way they deal with their potential customers, I just fear how will they treat me once I had signed up the deal. Beware while dealing with this dealer. While I have heard of good things, I certain didn't experience one and I would seriously suggest to be prepared and don't fall into their trap when making a deal. More
