Proctor Honda responded

We are sorry to read about your recent service experience and apologize again if we were unclear in communicating “severe driving conditions.” The Honda service manual has two schedules, normal and severe. Severe driving conditions may include frequent stop and go traffic, heavy rain and large temperature swings, and other factors. For this schedule, which is common in Florida and surrounding areas, it recommends some services more frequently than the standard interval.

Upset customer responded

First, as you can tell from the low mileage on my 2022 CRV, that I don’t drive very much and when I do it is in city traffic to shop and pick up grandchildren from school. It is unusual to change brake fluid and differential fluid at such low mileage. Second, I would NOT have agreed to both procedures if I had been informed beforehand! When communication is lacking, customers are JUSTIFIABLY UPSET! Perhaps it will be wise to provide your service scheduler a list of the codes and services they indicate as well as the costs of same! You can agree that this is reason for my against. You lost a loyal customer who leased two cars and purchased one car from your dealership since I moved here in 2012!
