Finally a great car buying experience I was in the market for a new Highlander and Priority was the closest dealer, so I read the reviews (almost all positive) and Todd Carlson's name kept I was in the market for a new Highlander and Priority was the closest dealer, so I read the reviews (almost all positive) and Todd Carlson's name kept coming up. I stopped by the dealership (spacious, clean, and relaxed) and requested to see Todd. He was very friendly and informative, assessing my needs, wants, and constraints, and suggested the Limited model. There were more expensive options, but he never pushed those on me. He spent an inordinate amount of time working through the optional accessories with me, and we took a lengthy test drive. After that, he spent 20 minutes explaining in length all the features of the vehicle. Then we talked colors - the dealership did not have my first choice in stock, so we discussed 3 other configurations, and I decided to go with my first choice. Although Todd was eager to drive to a Maryland dealer to pick up my desired vehicle, we agreed to wait a few days so I could make a more informed decision - he applied no pressure to make the deal right then. He encouraged me to ensure I did my homework, got other offers for my trade-in and financing, etc. I came back a week later as agreed equipped with all kinds of data, and we quickly negotiated a selling price, including matching the best trade-in I had found. Once that step completed, Katie came by to further explain (in great detail) all the optional accessories available for my vehicle. She also applied zero pressure to purchase any of them, and was very understanding of my opinions on some of them, but did offer rather attractive package deals, so after some generous negotiating on her part, I ended up including some of them in my purchase. Finally, I sat with Nick Smith in the finance office, and he went over the exhaustive details of the Toyota warrantee, including what was not covered, and then explained the advantages of each of the extended warranty options. Since the dealership is nearby and I plan to have my vehicle serviced there anyways, some of these extended warranties became more attractive to me, so we settled on a couple of them (Todd had made it a point to take me back to the service area where I met a very friendly service manager, Chris Agyekum, who stopped what he was doing to make me feel welcome, giving me his direct contact information and encouraging me to call him directly if there were ever any issues with my vehicle. The whole car-buying experience with the Priority Toyota team was far more rewarding than I could have expected, extremely non-confrontational and pleasant. My impression is that their intent is to build long term relationships with their clients, and I expect that I will be one of those loyal customers. If you want a painless car buying experience and welcome being treated with respect, then based on the customer service acumen exhibited by Todd, Nick, Katie, and Chris, Priority Toyota is where you want to purchase your next vehicle. More

Priorities for Life! After recently moving to Northern Virginia, I brought my car here for the first time to take part of the Priorities for Life (specifically oil change After recently moving to Northern Virginia, I brought my car here for the first time to take part of the Priorities for Life (specifically oil change and state inspection). I had previously gone to the Priority Toyota in Richmond, and I have to say that I enjoyed my experience so much more here. They were able to get me in on the same day for an appointment (something that would never have happened in Richmond), and everyone was super friendly. Also, they didn't try to upsell me on everything, like you see most other places. So far so good. I hope they keep up the good work. More
My experience at Priority Toyota was outstanding. I have never been to a dealership that was so nice and the employees were extremely helpful. This is my new "repair shop!" I followed Paul Sonnhalter here, after being his customer in Alexandria since 2007. (He is outstanding!) I had a negative experience at another Toyota dealership, and it was worth the 45 minute drive! I knew I could trust him with my car's repairs, and needed an honest opinion. I had a very positive experience with my check-in process, the politeness of staff, and installation of a factory warranty. The building is beautiful and everything is in great condition! It is a good place to wait, with a coffee shop, manicurist, WI-fi, and TV. (The staff was also very accommodating as I needed to heat up my lunch.) I gave it a "4" because I had a scheduled appointment and still needed to wait over two hours. Overall it was a very positive experience and I will return! This is my new "repair shop!" More

Fantastic Service: Lexus look out This was the best service I have had in years. It was OUTSTANDING from the agent who walked me from my car to inside the service center (classy), to This was the best service I have had in years. It was OUTSTANDING from the agent who walked me from my car to inside the service center (classy), to the agent at the service desk, to the service advisor, to the mechanic, to the parts department ( I wanted a net for my trunk), all the way to the cashier. The facility was beautiful and very clean. I have been going to Lexus for over 14 years, and this waiting room was nicer and cleaner than theirs. This was my first 5000 mile check up and therefore my first visit to this service center. I was taken on time (actually early) and we finished up early too. I was having no trouble with my 2015 RAV 4, but when I drove home, it actually seemed smoother. So a special thanks to the mechanic too. And as I said before, it was done on time and again better than Lexus (who is known for it's service) but with me the last couple of years kept me waiting an hour or more almost always) But most of all it was because of Paul Sonnhalter, the Service Advisor. I know from experience that how smoothly an appointment goes is usually because of the Service Advisor who can make or break a service experience. He was very patient with my many questions, very knowledgeable, very pleasant, and assured me he would help me out at anytime; a very nice gesture. He even helped with the trunk net. I was scared to go to another dealership, as I said, I had gone to the same dealership for both a Lexus I owned and then one I had leased. I was use to quality service in the past for many years. I was nervous about buying my Rave 4. But it has turned out to be a quality SUV, with many nice new features, great gas mileage, and now rides even smoother than before. Managers, Sales Associates, Finance, and even the Cleaning Crew were so accommodating and helpful through the whole experience. Dinner time was fastly approaching and I was getting worried that we were going to have to delay the process. Nope Sean our Sales Associate told us not to worry and ordered us a pizza. What kid doesn't like attention and now pizza, my daughter was in heaven. The buying process was smooth and painless. Priority Toyota is my New Home for Car Shopping needs. More
