He takes care of my car quickly, operates with 100% integrity, and sets the standard for what customer service should be! He clearly explains any work that needs to be done and also explains the pricing. I have had two occasions where other members of the Priority Toyota Springfield service department made a mistake when servicing my car. Both times I went to Paul and explained the situation. Both times Paul apologized on their behalf, quickly had my car serviced correctly, and (when possible) gave me a partial refund on my service bill. This is why I only trust my car to Paul! Unlike some other service managers and team members at Priority Toyota Springfield (and other dealerships), Paul will make sure the work is done right the first time and at the lowest possible price. Due to the average performance of other service providers at Priority Toyota Springfield I give the service department as a whole 3 stars. However, I give Paul Sonnhalter 5 stars. Take your car to Paul- you will not be disappointed! More
Pretty Good Liars If you want to experience deception of the highest order - to the point that the company (from the owner down to the last technician) does everything If you want to experience deception of the highest order - to the point that the company (from the owner down to the last technician) does everything but take ownership of their lie - then you should shop at Priority Toyota. After receiving a great offer from Ourisman Toyota, I opted to go with Priority Toyota (sure, they matched the price) for the sake of convenience (I live in Springfield). As we were going over the car specifications, the salesperson, James, informed me that I would be receiving free oil changes for life. However, these oil changes would take place every 10,000 miles. I was not willing to entertain the idea of driving the car for 7500 miles between oil changes (irrespective of the oil being synthetic or not) let alone 10,000 miles. Sensing that it is a deal breaker, James went and had a word with someone, came back and assured me that Priority would perform oil changes every 5000 miles on my car. In retrospect, I should have asked for it in writing. Nevertheless, I had 2 witnesses with me. Fast forward to my first oil change back in October 2016, I was told that they would only do the tire rotation since oil changes, as per Toyota's recommendation, are to be done every 10,000 miles. After a bit of a back-and-forth and speaking with Paul (the manager there), I was referred to Jonathan Ponce De Leon (some customer relations manager something). Jonathan kept asking me for it in writing which I did not have. Had I known I was dealing with a bunch of crafted liars, I would have had the entire thing written out to the last dot. At no point did they ask for the salesperson to present his side of the story. When James (salesperson) was finally summoned, he admitted that he had promised me oil changes every 5000 miles. Seeing that the whole thing had backfired against him, Jonathan, without any decency to apologize or an ounce of shame, informed me that he would have to find out who pays for the oil changes. Since it was no longer my problem, I informed him that I would be back in three days allowing him plenty of time to figure things out. I had had enough of "who is going to pay for the oil change" or "but we are following Toyota's recommendation" nonsense. When I returned three days later, they told me that they would do the oil change this one time but going forward, it would be done at 10,000 mile intervals. I was so pissed off because this was the second time I had to leave early from work to listen to their "but Toyota recommends oil changes every 10,000 miles" garbage. This time they had me speak with Paul and then we went to the same office (as the one we sat down in three days ago) where I spoke with Jonathan and some big-shot "owner" or CEO (whose name I cannot recall...maybe Dennis). Now this big-shot was the perfect conman for the job. Without integrity, no logic and with zero conversational skills, he started to preach to me Toyota's recommendation, AGAIN! After I reminded him that I would have never purchased a car from them (if not for oil changes at 5000 miles) and that his own salesperson made me a promise (which he admitted himself) they were refusing to deliver on, he said to me something to the effect that he was uninterested on whether or not my narrative made any sense. In fact, he made it clear that he would not even entertain trying to make sense of the situation except that Toyota recommends oil changes every 10,000 miles. By then, I had had enough. I had guests from abroad and I could not spend another single second on this nonsense (I had already wasted two days). I walked out and asked them to securely keep their maintenance package plan in their pockets. Therefore, I conclude with what I started. If you want to see a fine display of deception, shop at Priority Toyota. If for any reason they offer you something that is "too good to be true", get it in writing. Or use your phone's video capablity to capture their promises. More

He knew everything about each of the various models of Highlanders, and the exact differences they had. The day we came to look and ultimately buy, Priority was extremely busy, and at any time, Matt could have gotten side-tracked with another customer, and we would have completely understood. He didn't do that. He remained focused and kept us his top priority (no pun intended). It was an outstanding experience, and we will be back in the future. More

Outstanding Car Buying Experience Priority Toyota of Springfield is Number 1! I've been an owner of four (4)Toyota pickup trucks since 1988, including the Tacoma and the Tundra. I was Priority Toyota of Springfield is Number 1! I've been an owner of four (4)Toyota pickup trucks since 1988, including the Tacoma and the Tundra. I was also the owner of a new Corolla Tercel Coupe back in 1980. I know my Toyotas, and I know my dealerships. Priority Toyota of Springfield is the best - hands down. I just purchased a 2017 Tacoma SR5 4X4 Double Cab, experienced no pressure tactics, and couldn't be more pleased. Kudos to my Sales Consultant, Hector Amaya, who is the best Sales Consultant I've had the pleasure of working with during my 36-year association with Toyota; and to Daniella Vargas, Financial Manger; and to Aaron Tschirhart, General Sales Manager; and to Dwayne in the Service Department, who was responsible for seeing that my vehicle's undercoating was done professionally and on schedule, or in this case 30-minutes ahead of schedule because of a pressing commitment that I had to honor.
