First, let me say that this was one of the best car buying experiences I have ever had as far as negotiating price and completing all the necessary paperwork. I went on a Sunday afternoon and met with buying experiences I have ever had as far as negotiating price and completing all the necessary paperwork. I went on a Sunday afternoon and met with Mohamed Wadood. I knew the exact vehicle I was looking for, they had it on the lot, and he was immediately had me take it on a test drive without waiting and discussed all options for the sale price and my trade. Did not try to play the typical games you read about, he was very honest and up front about everything. I had done my research for about 5 months prior to me buying this vehicle, on various sites such as cars.com, kbb, NADA and edmunds. He found a way to make it work. I got an extremely fair price for a 2012 Acura TL with very low mileage. Haroon Khan in the finance department was very easy going, none of the typical pressure you read about either. He was very knowledgable in all the paperwork that was needed, was very prepared and efficient. No waiting around. Overall, an extreme pleasure to deal with this dealership and would highly recommend anyone in the market to give Rosenthal Nissan a try. More
Mohamed went out of his way to make our car buying experience quick and pleasant. We were confident that he worked to get us the best deal on a car we love and working with him was a pleasure! experience quick and pleasant. The salesmen that work at this dealership lie in order to sell cars it’s as simple as that. Edres Hafizi told me lie after lie until I signed on the dotted line. My payments ended up being more than I was sell cars it’s as simple as that. Edres Hafizi told me lie after lie until I signed on the dotted line. My payments ended up being more than I was originally told and I was not given the free oil changes he offered me at the time of sale. At a minimum avoid Edres Hafizi or the dealership altogether. I purchased my Mazda from Rosenthal Mazda and have been going to them for the last 8 years for auto maintenance service. Last weekend, I took my car in for the annual state and emissions inspections. My going to them for the last 8 years for auto maintenance service. Last weekend, I took my car in for the annual state and emissions inspections. My car was checked in by Robert Arrington (purple team). About 2 hours later, I received a call from Robert Arrington that my car failed inspection due to a leakage. I went in to the service center to get a better understanding of the issue. Robert Arrington brought me back into the service area to speak with the mechanic who worked on my car. The mechanic explained what the issue was and Robert Arrington then tells me that the repairs will cost $1,000+. I then asked the mechanic what will happen if I did not have the repairs done immediately. Before the mechanic could reply, Robert Arrington insisted that if I did not pay for the repairs, my car would fail inspections. At this moment, the mechanic replied that my car had actually passed inspections and that I should be able to use the car without the repairs for another 1000 to 2000 miles. There was a moment of silence, as we realized that Robert Arrington had lied to us regarding the car failing inspections and that the repairs were required immediately. After confirming with the mechanic that the repairs did not have to be completed immediately, we told Robert Arrington that we will not be paying $1,000+ to do these repairs. We received the ‘passed’ state and emissions inspections. Even if we were to make these repairs, it will not be with Rosenthal Mazda. On multiple occasions, we have had repairs done at Rosenthal Mazda and the mechanics are quite competent and pleasant. However, they have lost me as a customer because the business manager, Robert Arrington, is a liar and a crook. More
I leased a new fully loaded 2013 Altima. The car gave me problems from day one. The car had not been taken out of transport mode which made the car behave improperly. After they fixed that problem the pas problems from day one. The car had not been taken out of transport mode which made the car behave improperly. After they fixed that problem the passenger side airbag light would indicate that the airbag was disabled even when a passenger was sitting there. I brought it to service a few times and they dismissed it saying that's the way it should be. I filed with NISTA and IIHS and called Nissan corporate. A few weeks later, Nissan announces a national recall. Also the Navigation system malfunctioned. Four trips later the dealership has still not fixed it. Rosenthal's loaner cars are disgraceful. I dropped off a new fully loaded car with 300 miles on it and they gave me a 7 year old car with 77K on it that smelled of cigarettes and drove disgracefully. I find it disturbing that a service loaner requires service. I will never service my car at Rosenthal and I also do not rec anyone by a car from there either. More

He was 100% f Stay away from these creeps! This place is just the worst. Went in looking at SUVs and our salesman had no clue about the vehicles. He was 100% focused on trying to downplay our other options, rather than sell one of their cars. When we told them the pricing they had to match from a competitor, they jerked us around for TWO HOURS telling us they were "working on it, but can we show you this other car while we wait?" I saw the pricing from the sales manager written down on the back of one of the salesman's papers early on in this period, but hoped that we were being delayed so they could do better - they weren't even close. At the end of two hours when I threatened to leave, they finally admitted they had the pricing, and gave me the numbers I'd seen scribbled down earlier, so it was entirely clear they were just wasting our time from the very beginning and they knew it Meanwhile if I ever said I wasn't happy with this or that feature of one of their vehicles, the salesman would make a remark like, "oh you think so?" in a tone that said, "I think you're an idiot." Lovely. Several months ago I was helping a friend comparison shop for a Mazda and called Rosenthal to see if they could beat a price Brown's Mazda in Fairfax quoted. They told me that they could not beat it and then told me that Brown's must be misrepresenting the deal or otherwise acting fraudulently and that we should walk away immediately and come to Rosenthal where they would charge more but at least we would know they were honest. I politely declined and they called back to repeat the warning! Who does that?? The deal from Brown's Mazda in Fairfax was spectacular and my friend went with them and couldn't be happier. More
Rosenthal Nissan purchased our 2007 Nissan Murano from us in November 2012. We provided the dealer with the vehicle, three sets of keys and wireless fobs, and the title. We were promised payment upon deliv in November 2012. We provided the dealer with the vehicle, three sets of keys and wireless fobs, and the title. We were promised payment upon delivery and inspection of the vehicle. Upon delivery we were told that there was no one available to sign the check. We were told that payment would be ready by the next business day. More than five weeks later, our repeated phone calls and visits have been met with apologies, excuses and promises. First we were told that the check was ready for pick up. When we arrived to pick up the check we were told it had not yet been signed. When we returned the second time we were told that the check was mailed. After two more weeks the check had not arrived we were told that they would stop payment and replace the check. We asked that the replacement check be held so that we can pick it up. We spoke with used car manager Ramone once every four days during this process. We spoke with accounts payable and a handful of Rosenthal managers. We have been put on hold and disconnected from calls. We are promised "call backs" which never take place. We've called to ask for the "registered agent" so that we can file a lawsuit in Fairfax General District court. Rosenthal employees promise to provide the information, but are apparently not permitted to speak to us on the record. We've notified Virginia DMV about this matter and they are opening a Title Fraud investigation. At this time we don't have our 2007 Murano, not the$10,000.00 that was promised in writing. As long time Rosenthal customers we are stunned by this turn of events. We never would have put ourselves in the position of being defrauded by a private party. For about a month we were willing to attribute the lack of follow through to mismanagement and incompetence. Now it's apparently obvious that Rosenthal employees may be covering up cash flow problems. We've been victimized by our willingness to believe in the honesty, integrity and sincerity of the Rosenthal Nissan Mazda employees who have be fair and honest in our dealings for so long. What has changed in the corporate culture of Rosenthal Nissan Mazda that permits fraud and negligence dealers bordering on criminal behavior on the part of their employees? More
This dealership is by far the worst I have ever been too. The facility is disgusting!! If you look at te ceiling it has mold and dirt on the tiles from years ago! I worked with the GM kaveh Jahed who lied to me about the price of the Altima to get me to come in. Also he sent me an email blast with free car washes which was false advertisement. I could not be happier with my new car purchase from Rosenthal Nissan Mazada. Everyone from the salesman (Andrew Thompson) to the the financial manager (sorry didn't catch his name) to the sales manage Rosenthal Nissan Mazada. Everyone from the salesman (Andrew Thompson) to the the financial manager (sorry didn't catch his name) to the sales manager Edres Hafizi. Did a fantastic job salvaging what had become a terrible buying experience (at other dealers). I've been Internet shopping to get the best price and have had two Toyota Dealerships, a Honda Dealership, and another Nissan dealership give me all kinds of "run arounds." The prices they would quote me online would miraculously vanish when it came to actually doing the deal and I found myself frustrated with what seemed to become the norm with how dealers treat their customers. When I struck a deal with Andrew on my 2013 2.5 Altima SL I was shell-shocked, and at each step expected the "other shoe to drop". Something certainly seemed amiss as the process with THIS dealership was straight forward, the price I was given wasn't changing (and they were when they didn't have the exact car I wanted were willing to get it from another dealership without any additional charges). There was no mention of additional fees for "dealer installed equipment" or mention of prices that included incentives that I didn't qualify for. Both of which were issues with others. The day I was to pick up the car I typed in the VIN to the Internet and the listing I found showed the vehicle without an important feature (the expensive technology package with the Navigation system...Ah...this explained everything...I was getting a different car. When I called to check with Andrew I was told this was his day off. Now I was heart broken as I figured another "deal gone bad" was in the making. I called Edres and he assured me the Internet description (from the dealership they got the car from) was wrong...that indeed the car I was buying was exactly as agreed to and he would see me at 1:00. When 1:00 came, I entered the dealership and was greeted by Andrew (who I never met previously as all interactions were via email). I was surprised, as I had been told it was his day off and he explained that of course he had was going to come in. Andrew went over all the details of the car, the financial person efficiently processed the paperwork and while mentioning the additional extended warranties, did not pressure or try to cajole. Also, there was no BS about trying to get me to use their financing (I was paying cash, and I had read online about people getting a runaround because the dealer makes money when the maker's financing is used) . After that was done, Andrew came to he car and paired our phone to the car via bluetooth and we were on our way. Finally...a dealership that says what they will do and actually lives up to their word!! I thought such a thing no longer existed. I'll be telling everyone I know to buy their next car at Rosenthal. Service department has been the worst I have ever encountered. 1. They do not honor Warranties, they try to find ways to make you pay, and they never call you back. 2. The manager on site refu encountered. 1. They do not honor Warranties, they try to find ways to make you pay, and they never call you back. 2. The manager on site refuses to speak to the customers, instead, you will be stuck speaking to the mechanic who also has no idea what's going on. When they shrug their shoulders because they don't know something, you will have to call corporate yourself... Something they should do, not you. Horrible customer service. 3. They WILL try to charge you for unnecessary work. Chances are that you probably don't need that "air filter" or that "oil change"... they're just trying to rip you off... again. This is the stereotypical shady service department that will probably sabotage your car. I am surprised how they still stay in business. More
