I am very happy with my experience at Nissan Chantilly because I was made to feel important as a customer and that my time was important as well. Overall I had a great experience in purchasing my car. However, I was overcharged by $1000 from the original agreed-upon price. I had to return to the dealership several times to justify the discrepancy. When the sales and finance staff finally realized their mistake I was told a check would be mailed to me. It was supposed to arrive over two weeks ago and I still have not received it. Other than this, the staff was great -- if I can get the problem resolved soon I would recommend the dealership. If it weren't for this issue, my rankings would have been higher. More
The only reason we bought the car here is because we already went with an offer from another dealer and Chantilly improved the offer. Chris was the worst salesperson we ever had. Very pushy, arrogant, inconsiderate and no sales skill what so ever! The first thing he said when we came in to the dealer was to ask us for our driver’s license and S.S.N. ! How can you ask that info prior to knowing if we really wanted to get the car! When giving us paper work to read and sign, didn’t let us read. He said, just sign. Good thing is that he doesn’t work there anymore. Or at least I don’t see him in the “Meet Our Staff” roster in the Nissan Chantilly website. After, dealing with the sales person you have to go and talk with the “aftermarket representative” … Please, don’t let them fool you! They are going to sell you so much “crap” that you really don’t need and it’s going to increase the loan! Two hours later you still there dealing with all the paperwork and just waiting for them to approve and clean the car. Lastly, you talk with the financial officer. In our case Jeff was a great guy, and down to reality. Unfortunately, I don’t see him in the “Meet Our Staff” roster in the Nissan Chantilly website. When buying a car be ready to spend at least 4 hours… In regards of the car maintenance, the 3 months check went well or at least we think that. Then this past Friday we went for the 6 months check up. We left the car at 10:30am and told them that we’ll pick it up after work. We went to pick it up at 6pm in a hurry since we had other plans. We asked to get the car washed in addition to the scheduled maintenance, because it is “free”. When we went to pick it up the car was not cleaned, we knew that the car rotation was not done, because the tires had a dirty mark and it was in the same place. After, complaining about the situation the Service Manager apologized for the incident and provided us with the service. The Dealer has a new service manager and he seems very reasonable. More

They offered the typical add-on options (different types of extended warranties) and a few that I had not seen in my previous buying experience. There was absolutely no pressure to buy any of them. The benefits and pricing were explained, and they quickly moved to through the paperwork. I think I spent a total of 2 hours from the time I walked in the door to driving away. I had to bring my truck back to get some items added. In the service department I met a Service Manager named "Fitz." He was the best. He is one of those people you just like from the moment you meet him. He took down the necessary details and got me a loaner car in a matter of minutes. He called me during the day with a status and time estimate for completion. More

I would recommend the dealership, while in doing so, sincerely hoping that my experience was atypical, and attributing some of the problems to poor communications and potential inattentiveness. We, my wife and I, were told certain things that turned out just not to be the case, for example, that the vehicle would be cleaned up and ready to go; it wasn't. We were told the first aid kit had been replaced, when in fact, it had not even been ordered. We were told the vehicle was being taken to be gassed up, and quite some time later, it had not been. We spent more than three hours at the dealership to consummate the transaction, due to unnecessary delays. We were later told that all the missing items, the floor mats, the first aid kit, the earphones and remote for the DVD player, and the cargo net were ready to be picked up, and when we arrived, no one was there and we later learned that the first aid kit had not yet been ordered. When we picked up the floor mats, etc., another forty-five minute adventure while the salesman left us standing around while he apparently attempted to make another sale, we were told we weren't entitled to a cargo net since it wasn't on the sticker, which is contrary to what we had earlier been told, and we were given one. I can understand the desire to make another sale, but I resent being put on the back burner since my money had already changed hands. We were told on 06/01/11 that we would be sent an added, unexpected incentive, a $500 gas card, which hasn't happened as of 06/13/11, and last but not least, I have been called Ray, David, and Daniel, while my name is Donald.
