The recent, huge snowstorm caused me to lose my Odyssey's passenger wheel-well shield. I came in to make an appointment to have the work done about 4 PM yesterday. After I signed in with Tina, th Odyssey's passenger wheel-well shield. I came in to make an appointment to have the work done about 4 PM yesterday. After I signed in with Tina, the car disappeared. About 20 minutes later I met Jason who explained the possibilities of repair. His ingenuity and resourcefulness shined like a beacon, and his recommendations were the plan that I accepted. He did a great job repairing the damage and finished the work within the hour. Really nice to know that folks like Tina and Jason are available and ready to go the extra mile! And all I went in for, was to make an appointment to repair or replace the shield! Thanks, guys!! More

The most unethical service department of any dealership in the valley. My 79 year old father took his 1999 Accord in for a "free" state inspection. At that time the car was in perfect mechanical condition in the valley. My 79 year old father took his 1999 Accord in for a "free" state inspection. At that time the car was in perfect mechanical condition with around 100,000 miles. Technician rejected the car for cracked engine mounts, according to the Va. state police this is not on the list for inspection and certainly not cause for rejection. My father agreed to have the repairs made, after picking up the car he did not get 5 miles from the dealership when the check engine light came on and the transmission started slipping. After returning to the dealership and inspecting the car they stated the transmission needed rebuilding. Remember this was a perfectly functioning car prior to the state inspection. No attempt was made by the dealership to take ownership of these issues and my father is left with a malfunctioning car. Sad part is this is the second time the dealer taken advantage of an elderly man. My father also had a "free" state inspection done on his 2003 Oddessy van and was threatened with rejection for cracked engine mounts. I have been using Rick Woodson myself for 17 years. We purchased two Accords and put 250,000 plus miles on both and servicing was done exclusively by Rick Woodson and must say the quality of service has deteriorated. In the future I will be buying from Duncan.... More
Vehicle is almost one year old. The pinstriping provided by dealership is coming off. Service department rep said someone else would need to look at it and they were not available.....inconvenient. Disp by dealership is coming off. Service department rep said someone else would need to look at it and they were not available.....inconvenient. Displays in 2013 Honda Pilots apparently have issues where they change intensity for no apparent reason. Service rep said that he couldn't address until he witnessed the problem first hand and this is an intermittent problem so he wouldn't be able to address. This is a convenient response for dealership. It should be documented that we have reported this issue for the second time and the dealership chooses to ignore rather than covering under warranty. Are we supposed to live with this poor operation for the life of the vehicle? More

I've always gotten great service from Woodson with Hondas not purchased from their dealership. I wrongly assumed Woodson would not be competitive with larger dealerships on a new purchase and planned on get not purchased from their dealership. A last minute call found Woodson very competitive and with the service I've always received, it turned out great. Staff is excellent as well, both in sales and service. More
My daughter had a really bad experience with this dealer. My daughter had a really bad experience with this dealer. Her Honda was having problems so she called Rick Woodson Honda and they said bring it down and they would look at it. When she arrived they told her, we can't get to it today, leave it overnight. They took her keys and told her to call Friday. When she called they said her car had been burglarized. When she went down there her car was on blocks. Her brand new tires and custom rims had been stolen. Also they had went into the car and stolen her JVC stereo system. My daughter being a college student and part time Food Lion worker has very limited income, so she did not have full coverage insurance to cover this theft. When she asked the dealership what they were going to do about this they said we are not responsible. They were rude and basically she said it was her problem not their's. My daughter's insurance company said they would file a claim with Rick Woodson Honda's insurance company if she could find out the name of the company. We ask the dealership for the name of their insurance company and they flat out refused to give it to us on more than one occasion. So we contacted the owner, Sally Woodson-Spigle about the matter. She said we are not responsible and we are not paying. My daughter entrusted her car to these people and was let down big time. She has been upset and crying now for two days. Several other customer cars were burglarized that night too. Information involving this incident can be reviewed in Roanoke City Police file: case # 11-002526. It appears to me that the dealership is willing to protect their own property, but not the property of their customers. My conclusion: avoid Rick Woodson Honda and entrust you vehicle and property to a dealership that is willing to protect it. More
I purchased my Honda Element a 2008 from a used car dealer. I was the second retail owner. I had the door visors, an arm rest added and seat covers installed on the rear seats. The service and quality dealer. I was the second retail owner. I had the door visors, an arm rest added and seat covers installed on the rear seats. The service and quality of work at this dealership is outstanding. I will take my Element there for all maintenance and will probably buy my next new car off of them. More
I received a service bulletin from Honda stating that if the SRS light on the indicator panel is on, that I could bring my car in and have it inspected at NO cost, and if the affected area was covered under the SRS light on the indicator panel is on, that I could bring my car in and have it inspected at NO cost, and if the affected area was covered under the extended warranty, that it would also be replaced a no cost. Unfortunately, Rick Woodson Honda would not honor the free inspection. The letter from Honda Motors states: "If the red supplemental restraint system (SRS) indicator on the instrument panel stays on, take your vehicle to any Honda dealer for an inspection.... The inspection is also free of charge, even if there is not a problem with the OPDS control unit or the OPDS sensor and your vehicle is within the extended warranty time/mileage period" - Service Bulletin 06-009 pg. 7 dated Feb 5, 2008. However, Rick Woodson Honda stated that they will only cover the cost of the $80 inspection, if the inspection turned up a problem with the control unit or sensor. This came from not only the service associates, but the service manager "Todd" as well. Of course, there is no way of knowing what's wrong with the car until after the inspection, but that's beside the point. Regardless, Rick Woodson Honda would not honor Honda Corporations offer to a free inspection no matter what the inspection outcome is. In conclusion, Honda Corporation felt they did not have the time to police the Dealer's who's selling their product, reciting that the Dealership's are independently owned. Overall Very Unsatisfied.
