Worst car buying experience ever! I worked with Lisa to establish price and APR deal before even test driving. I was clear that I was interested in the cheaper of the 2 (same) Honda I worked with Lisa to establish price and APR deal before even test driving. I was clear that I was interested in the cheaper of the 2 (same) Honda Odyssey Sports listed on your website and only wanted to test drive that one. She went to the manager and found out that that vehicle was actually in Chesapeake. She went back and forth with manager and came back to me after “some hard work” to tell me they understood the confusion and could give me the vehicle on the lot for the same price. I then test drove it. -We worked on my trade in price with a manager and established a deal there. As well as the 1.9 APR for 48 months. Ryan repeatedly focused on the monthly amount. I repeatedly explained that I was more concerned about the total price and APR. - Everything was set and then I discover that the total price is back up to $44,000. -At this point we have been there for over two hours. Ryan then explains that the dealership cannot give me the advertised and agreed upon price because they have to “buy down” the APR. and that he can either give me the vehicle for $42k with 3.9 or $44k with the 1.9. This is a sucky sales move. Not to mention I was clear with Tim on the phone before driving an hour that I wanted the 1.9 $40k vehicle. I was also clear with Lisa about the same. Ryan then slid this in at the last minute having me sign a paper and snatching it away and walking away before I could really look over it. I had to have Lisa call him back to her desk to look at it again and discover the discrepancy. He also came back and said that the vehicle in Chesapeake was a leased one with lots of miles. Again not what was advertised. See screen shots below. -I wasn’t planning on posting this review online, but now that I have written it I feel others need to know. -Stating the dealership has to “buy down” APR when I already know Honda is providing the 1.9 APR to dealerships in order to move out the 24 model because the 25 models have already arrived is slimy. Not to mention we have already agreed upon price of the car and APR before I even test drove. The only thing that was left to debate was my travel-in value. More
Larry Dunn has sold my husband and I cars for Yeats now. He's always respectful, helpful, and follows up. I have been happy with Priority Honda but saddened that they took oil changes for life away.
