The main purpose of my recent visit was to get two major recalls resolved. I scheduled the appointment a month in advance. Only when I arrived for my appointment did I find out that one of the recalls wou recalls resolved. I scheduled the appointment a month in advance. Only when I arrived for my appointment did I find out that one of the recalls would require leaving the car for two days, and the second recall could not be competed because the parts from Honda are not available. The other service items could have been completed at a reliable automotive center just 5 minutes from my home. I drove over an hour each way to specifically work with the dealership due to the recall items. Both major recalls were identified and released in November of 2023. Since that time, I have been patiently waiting to get these issues resolved which to date, cannot be done at the same time. I am very disappointed in the lack of information, notification and efficiently from both Honda and the dealership. If I had known before arriving that one, my care would need to be left for an extended period, and two parts were not available. The dealership seems to have quite a bit of automation in messaging, but none of this worked to inform me of the restrictions of my appointment. I should have been informed well in advance of these restrictions. More
I took my Odyssey van there and was treated professionally. It was my first time there so I wanted them to check it over. They recommended several major repairs that cost me almost $4000. A few months later, I took the van in for the annual inspection. That trip was a little over $500 because they said the light has moisture in it and needed replacing. At that time they gave me a print out that listed necessary work to be done. It turned out to be the same exact work I had done the first time. When I pointed that out, I was told that it was a mistake but had I not checked my records, I would have told them to go ahead and fix it, and I'm doubting that they would have reversed the recommendation. It just felt like they were dishonest and I decided not to return to that dealer ship. More
