We just purchased a new Fusion Hybrid, and after the first fill-up, noticed the check engine light wouldn't go off, even though we followed the steps int he car's manual. We took the car in to the service dept of the dealership where we had made the purchase, and were told that the first available appointment for this problem wasn't until the Tuesday of the following week (this was on a Thursday) because there was no hybrid certified technician available until then. We were told that we could drive the car without a problem until then. The person we spoke with didn't seem to care that we had a very new car with a warning light that she wasn't able to service in a reasonable amount of time, which was very disappointing, from our standpoint. We did bring the car back at our first opportunity, and the problem (there was one) was taken care of under warranty. I would have just expected a little more empathy from our first contact int he service department. More
You can not go to anyother dealer and feel so welcome the way that Mr. Weber makes you feel. He won't put you in something that you are not going to be happy with and he gets to know you. We had just decided to look for a new vehicle, and having had and loved an Expedition for many years, we decided to stop by Freedom Ford because we were in the neighborhood. Clyde Woodberry was great; none of the Expeditions on the lot fitted our needs/budget, and he took the time to pull information on vehicles that were located elsewhere. Originally, we had planned to shop around, but Clyde answered all of our questions and had such a great personality that we felt like we were in very good hands and that he could find us whatever we needed, which he did. He was also great when we picked up our truck, patiently and thoroughly explaining features that were new to us. We bought our last truck from Beach Ford, which is closer to our house, but we're Freedom/Clyde customers from here on out! Larry Cope was the finance guy, and he was good, as well. The people at Freedom Ford were terrific. They made us feel welcome. What ever we need or wanted, they went out of their way to make it happen. And they did. We purchased a vehicle 4 months ago at another Ford Dealership, and we were treated very well. It was just a little too far out of the way, and we decided to upgrade to a Newer Model. Freedom Ford was closer. We dealt with Freedom Form 30 years ago, and like the saying; "You always go back to the things that work for you", we decided to go back and visit Freedom Ford. So glad we did. We bought a New 2013 Ford Edge. The sales people were just wonderful. Everyone was so nice and offered any assistance we needed. We were looking to buy a new Ford CMax Hybrid and found the special on the Freedom Ford website. We were surprised the car was still available a week later. My husband contacted Mark online and we set up the special on the Freedom Ford website. We were surprised the car was still available a week later. My husband contacted Mark online and we set up a time to meet and placed a deposit on the car. Larry was a big help with all of the paperwork including taking care of everything we would need to get our car registered in our home state. Both men made this whole process pretty painless. Mark spent quite a bit of time with us in the new car helping us figure out all of the top of the line features. It really didn't hurt that several employees bought some girl scout cookies from my daughter! More
