The most dishonest, disorganized dealership in Hampton Roads Before Priority took over this particular dealership it was called Freedom Ford and they were great. I've been buying cars there for almost 20 years up until that point. The service center is set on racking up extra fees for stuff that isn't mentioned and the ONE time I went to have my oil changed in the express center, the guy behind the counter came up to me and told me the service techs recommended I get new wiper blades as mine were getting frayed. What he failed to realize is I was watching my truck through the HUGE glass window and no one had even approached my truck yet. I swore I would never go back again then but like Charlie Brown with the football, I had to try again. This time, even though I specifically told the lady I made my appointment with that I didn't want the express oil change, she still booked me. This was yesterday. I looked at the guy, told him no personal offense but this place just isn't worth the money anymore walked out the door. I'm done getting ripped off by Priority Ford. More
Service center complete rip off We brought our Explorer in to Priority for inspection and probable maintenance after a failed inspection from a dealer we couldn't trust. We took it in on a Thursday for the appointment we made, which was around lunch time. We got a call at the end of that day saying they weren't able to get to our car that day, but would call us the next day with an update. When we received the update, we were told that a whole slew of things needed to be repaired and starting cost was $3000!! That was three times the price we were quoted from the first dealership we didn't trust! We declined to have many of those services completed, but opted to have the defroster and brake lights repaired, as we needed those to pass inspection. We were quoted $300 for those two repairs. We didn't get another call that day with an update, and we were never informed that Saturday's weren't regular maintenance days so no work would be done then either. Skipping Sunday, Monday morning we get a call saying that it would now be $8000. (!!!!!!!) for repairs, and the ones we opted for hadn't even been completed! So 5 days without our vehicle, no repairs made, no reasonable way of getting our car repaired, and dealing with an advisor that made it clear he'd rather us trade our vehicle in than repair it, while be snotty and elusive when we asked questions, we're less than satisfied with our experience. To add insult to injury, we had to pay $317 for labor hours! So short of a refund for the money that we paid to be put in a bind for fives days and an apology for wasting our time and money, it's safe to safe we'll never give our business to Priority Ford again AND we'll be warning friends and family against them. We're just trying to abide by the law. Taking advantage of people in tough situations is no way to earn business. Even worse, they sent us a survey to fill out. My overall experience with this dealership leads to the conclusion that they care more about volume sales than they do about establishing a lifelong customer base from ethical sales practices. Stay away from the used cars salesmen/women They will say whatever it takes to get you there, even if they've accepted another deal on the same car.
