Brought my midsize SUV in Nov 15th 2021 for transmission issues. They preformed diagnostics that morning but never called me with an update. 30 minutes before close I called to receive an update, and they t issues. They preformed diagnostics that morning but never called me with an update. 30 minutes before close I called to receive an update, and they told me I needed a new transmission. They then asked me for my warranty information. The next day I called again for an update and they said they couldn’t find my warranty info to file a claim and asked for the info again. I gave them all info again and they finally filed the claim. 2 days later the claim was approved, but still no update from the dealership. After waiting another 24 hours I called to ask when they would be able to start the work on my vehicle. At that time they said they were having an issue finding a new transmission as they were out of stock everywhere. They said it was recommended I leave my vehicle at the lot and not drive it and they would call me when they found a new transmission. 4 weeks go by and the only updates I got were when I called once a week to ask for a status update. I finally started calling other dealerships and transmission shops in the area and found 3 that could complete the work as they had remanufactured transmissions available. I then called priority to let them know that I was be picking up my vehicle, canceling the warranty claim with them and taking my vehicle elsewhere for the work to be completed. Chase who was my service advisor called me back and said they had JUST found out a NEW transmission was being shipped out of the GM center for my car. I asked him to confirm 5 times that this was a new transmission, and agreed to leave my vehicle with priority to complete the work because I would’ve rather have a new transmission over the remanufactured one the other shop could put it. I wanted a new transmission and not a remanufactured transmission. Chase called to let me know the new transmission was being shipped on Dec 9th. Danielle called me to let me now the transmission arrived on Dec 17th. (Which was a Friday) Dec 20th (a Monday) Chase called to let me know the transmission was in but when installing it they shattered my windshield. He said my car would be ready Dec 21st. On Dec 21st I called for an update at 4pm and was told the windshield had been installed but they had not test driven my car yet it wouldn’t be available til Dec 22nd. Dec 22nd I get a call from Danielle that my car is ready for pick up. I arrive to get my car, see it in the lot and decide to inspect it before going inside. As soon as I walked up to it I saw scratches on my passenger door. So I go inside and let Ashley know I wanted to see the inside of the vehicle. Upon inspecting the inside of my vehicle there was still glass all over my dashboard and seats. Big pieces of glass. Big enough that when my husband picked up a piece to remove it from the seat he cut his finger. The inside of my vehicle looked like it had been torn apart. They pulled up a floor panel around my back passenger seat and had it sitting in the seat next to it. My weather tech mats pulled back and left back. I went inside frustrated and spoke with the manager who said it would be the following Tuesday before they could have the door fixed and they again, they wanted to keep my car. She ended up calling me the next day Dec 23rd, letting me know they fixed the panel and floor mats and went over the vehicle twice with the vacuum to remove the glass. And that they had buffed the door but if I wasn’t happy with it I could bring it back December 28th for the painter to paint it then. I leave with my car on the 23rd after letting them know I’d be back the 28th for them to paint the door. While driving the car on the 24th it started having the same issue it had prior to them putting in a new transmission, which actually turned out to be a REMANUFACTURED transmission and not the NEW one I was promised and told I was receiving. So now I haven’t been able to drive my car for 6 weeks. I’m back at the dealership. They charged me/my warranty company $5100 for a new transmission install, yet they installed a used remanufactured transmission. They charged them for 4 days worth of work. When they rushed the job and had it done in 2 days. They shattered my windshield. (Which they did replace) Scratched up my door. (Which they will hopefully be fixing today) Tried to give my car back to me trashed and the front covered in glass. I had the expectation of getting my car back in BETTER condition then when I left it. As a business owner myself, I have high expectations when it comes to customer service. I have lost confidence in this dealership. This is not the first time I have been to them for repair work, but I absolutely will not be coming back again. More
