Saw an ad in the Sunday paper. Although I it seemed to good to be real, I took a drive over. Well sure enough, failed to mention the extra fine print of $4000 for a LEASE downpayment as well as the taxes good to be real, I took a drive over. Well sure enough, failed to mention the extra fine print of $4000 for a LEASE downpayment as well as the taxes etc. Who in their right mind would put down such a large amount for a lease? The Salesman seemed very distracted in the hopes that someone may come in looking for a 7 series. The place was small and only one model to look at. I asked what the REAL payment would be if I rolled the $4,000 into the payment and added miles up front. The salesman said he had to leave to see his son in a fooball game and would call me back. He never did. I called Flemington and although I live in Princeton, it was worth the trip. I received honest answers from down to earth up front professionals. I bought the car over the phone site un seen. Princeton BMW you need to lose your snobbish attitude, your not the only dealer. More
After warranty was out on 7 series, they did everything possible to overcharge for repairs, most of which were not even needed. After buying 5 new vehilces from this dealer, and going for my sixth just re possible to overcharge for repairs, most of which were not even needed. After buying 5 new vehilces from this dealer, and going for my sixth just recentsly, they were the highest price on the new 7 series and the lowest on my trade, which they exclusively serviced. I am now dealing with Flemington BMW and just purchased a new seven series from them. The attitude at Princeton BMW is more like "what can they do for themselves", not the customer. Flemmington was a pleasure compared to Princeton. More
I went in for a test-drive, and I came away not wanting to buy a BMW - is there something wrong with that picture? To me, it's certainly not the dealer that sells the car - it's the car that sells itself! to buy a BMW - is there something wrong with that picture? To me, it's certainly not the dealer that sells the car - it's the car that sells itself! I came to the dealer and felt uncomfortable from the start. The people I ran into there were snobbish and full of "i'm-all-that" attitude. The salesman was friendly enough, but I didn't enjoy the interaction because it felt condescending. I knew the product well already - I do my research, but if anything the atmosphere in the dealership made me rather unenthusiastic to buy a BMW. What a shame - they serve Princeton, NJ, one of the more affluent and elite communities around.<br><br>______<br><br>This review has been edited to exclude a name reference because that person is no longer with this company. 04/23/04 More
THIEVES! Here is a good one. IF you have a warrantee and the money they get from the underwriter does not cover the RETAIL cost of the part, they charge the CUSTOMER for the difference! After e-mails and ph the money they get from the underwriter does not cover the RETAIL cost of the part, they charge the CUSTOMER for the difference! After e-mails and phone calls to both BMW Princeton and BMW NA, I had to go over face to face and get the money. Of course they short changed me because they did not have any cash change available. AWFUL. This was the 'customer service' manager too! Shop elsewhere! More
Absolutely terrible. Could not fix problems worth a xxxx. Actually have broken things when I went in for service. Do not know how to tell if something is going to break. Do not notify you of pending xxxx. Actually have broken things when I went in for service. Do not know how to tell if something is going to break. Do not notify you of pending wear items needing replacement until they are in need, (ie. brake pads). Do not know how to service your car in one day, for simple items. Will push you back a day at the drop of a hat, for an emergency, but would not fix my car when my clutch blew for over 2 weeks. Had to go somewhere else. Charge for items and do not fix. Charged for Inspection II, but half parts were not replaced (ie, spark plugs). Inspection items not inspected. Do not deal with them. Lost all records of my car, including purchase. Service writer is terrible and has no idea about cars. Only good thing was Tony in sales, but he's gone now. Have cost me thousands, and BMWNA is not helpful. Now with Thompson in Doyelstown and am much more satisfied. More
Very slow with work. Don't return my calls. Never have they returned my calls. Promise to call. No call. Voice mail does nothing. I finally go somewhere after my mother had to call to ask why I was being they returned my calls. Promise to call. No call. Voice mail does nothing. I finally go somewhere after my mother had to call to ask why I was being ignored. My Mom had to call and ask Glen if it was because I was 18 and he can ignore younger adults by avoiding their phone calls. He immediately changed his attitude towards us and said he would never treat me like that (clealy it's my age). It took four (4) phone calls and two days after he said he would call me right back the day before. <br><br>When picking up the car it's always 10-15 minutes and then they tell me my car is "blocked in" out back and they are going to get it now. That's after 15 minutes of after they saying they are getting it.<br><br>Bought four (4) cars from them. There is absolutely no excuse for the lack of quality, service and respect we have received!<br><br>I have many friends with families that refuse to go there because of their lack of customer service. It's worth the 30-40 minute drive Open Road BMW in Edison. More
