We have been dealing with princeton Bmw and Tony fo r 9 years. The service is outstanding as it the salesperson. I will start with our salesperson, over the nine years he has taken a personal interest in our likes and needs. We never have to call him when our lease is up, nor do we have to haggle over price. Tony knows what we want and what we can afford and our car is always ready within a few days of our call, and I need to say we have never been disapointed. As far as service, princetons service department is far better than any other, both in quality and reliabilty. We did bring our car to another dealership closer to home for service, it was a real horror story. We would never go anywhere else, when you have the best we would never settle for less. More

THe second car which I bought in 2005 the experience was horrible so much so that I just bought another car and refused to buy a bmw. I will never go back to Princeton BMW again the service and attitude is the worst I have every seen, they are a disgrace to the BMW brand More
Okay, here's what happened when I called the service manager about the ordeal from Princeton BMW. He basically said he has many satisfied customers and he does not see a problem with the dealership. Whe manager about the ordeal from Princeton BMW. He basically said he has many satisfied customers and he does not see a problem with the dealership. When I told him about the getting the run around with the refund, he said, he'll talk to Paul the parts guy. When an alcoholic goes to AA, hardest thing for the alcoholic is to admit that he/she is dependent on alcohol. This dealer, did not acknowledge the problem, instead, he said people who complains will always complain. But most people do not, and the dealer ratings are faulty. I told him that I am mentioning it only because I want to see if they can improve customer service, he said he'll talk to the sr. management and hung up. Nice. More
Visited Princeton BMW before finding this site. Very mixed experience. Sales person was actually very good on initial visit. However, follow up was disappointing from two perspectives. First he could mixed experience. Sales person was actually very good on initial visit. However, follow up was disappointing from two perspectives. First he couldn't keep track of who I was. Couldn't remember what model I was interested in etc. Second was refusal to give quote over phone, fax or e-mail. When I told him that was too bad and I would buy from someone else they offered (several days later) to make an exception. If I'm buying a $40K car I'm not going to subject myself to a high pressure in the office sales job. Anyone considering dealing with this dealership should ask up front if they'll give them a quote over the phone, and walk out if they won't. More
I bought a new 3 series from Princeton & was very happy with the sales experience. However, I live over in PA and needed a loaner for service. Princeton BMW gave me a loaner and when I returned the c happy with the sales experience. However, I live over in PA and needed a loaner for service. Princeton BMW gave me a loaner and when I returned the car there was damage to a passenger side wheel, which they wanted me to pay for. I was 100% sure I did not damage that wheel because I drove to my office, parked the car alone out of the way & then drove back to the dealer- no potholes or rough roads. Anyhow they pressed hard for me to pay for the wheel and when I refused, they said they could no longer provide me a loaner car. This is partly my fault for not checking the entire loaner car before I left the dealership, but I know I did not damage that wheel. It was a horrible experience. I just bought a new M3 from another dealer & will never deal with Princeton BMW ever again. I do not know the profit on a new M3, but Princeton lost all of it because of their standoffish attitude towards me. More
Was shopping for a new M3 several months back. I've never been treated as inappropriately as I was at Princeton. They must have thought I did not have any money since I was dressed in street clothes ( never been treated as inappropriately as I was at Princeton. They must have thought I did not have any money since I was dressed in street clothes (they were way wrong), and when it came to negotiating a price, the salesman became beligerent and threw me and my friend out because I said his price was not the lowest they could offer. The sales manager then tried to smooth things over, but there was no way I was buying anything from them. They even were made because I showed up "unannounced." Didn't know you needed an "appointment" to go car shopping! Absolutely a horrible outfit, and a darn shame people buy from them because of their convenient location. More
I have heard a lot of bad things about Princeton BMW and the ratings & comments below show it. I remember the first time I went in their without an appointment, I couldn't get anyone to help me out. Now t the ratings & comments below show it. I remember the first time I went in their without an appointment, I couldn't get anyone to help me out. Now that I have already bought 3 vehicles from this dealership, at least I get some attention.<br><br>However maybe I have been lucky. I have a had a great sales person in Evan, who actually responds to emails and gets back to me in a timely manner. Their pricing may not be the best, but I can live with it. Evan makes the buying experience very easy, which is a good thing. I would recommend trying Evan out if you are looking for a good salesman that knows about the product as well as the importance of customer service.<br><br>As for Service, it seems the turnover there for service advisors is very high. I have gone through 3-4 of them already, with no major problems at this time. <br><br>It is tough to make an appointment with a loaner car unless it's weeks in advance. The service is usually done on time and without any hassle (again maybe I am one of the lucky ones). The service is decent at this time for me (again this takes into account that my vehicle (knock on wood) has been very reliable so far).<br><br><br><br> More
Just had to register so that I could post and say I'm glad I'm not the only<br>one! Talk about attitude! I stopped in several times (on my way to/from<br>work and over lunch) to speak to someone about glad I'm not the only<br>one! Talk about attitude! I stopped in several times (on my way to/from<br>work and over lunch) to speak to someone about a 3-series and noone was ever available to talk to me! Contacting them via email from their own website is a joke. When I finally was able to meet with somene, he writes up a quote that iis by far the worst of the bunch and then acts annoyed that I don't want to put down a deposit ron the spot. I'll write up my experience with the service department later (we bought a mini from<br>them), but I think BMW should be embarrassed to have them as an authorized dealer. Just stay away from the place. <br><br>I actually had a salesman from Flemmington tell me that they love<br>Princeton BMW because the end up getting alot of what would be<br>repeat business from them.<br> More
Saw an ad in the Sunday paper. Although I it seemed to good to be real, I took a drive over. Well sure enough, failed to mention the extra fine print of $4000 for a LEASE downpayment as well as the taxes good to be real, I took a drive over. Well sure enough, failed to mention the extra fine print of $4000 for a LEASE downpayment as well as the taxes etc. Who in their right mind would put down such a large amount for a lease? The Salesman seemed very distracted in the hopes that someone may come in looking for a 7 series. The place was small and only one model to look at. I asked what the REAL payment would be if I rolled the $4,000 into the payment and added miles up front. The salesman said he had to leave to see his son in a fooball game and would call me back. He never did. I called Flemington and although I live in Princeton, it was worth the trip. I received honest answers from down to earth up front professionals. I bought the car over the phone site un seen. Princeton BMW you need to lose your snobbish attitude, your not the only dealer. More
After warranty was out on 7 series, they did everything possible to overcharge for repairs, most of which were not even needed. After buying 5 new vehilces from this dealer, and going for my sixth just re possible to overcharge for repairs, most of which were not even needed. After buying 5 new vehilces from this dealer, and going for my sixth just recentsly, they were the highest price on the new 7 series and the lowest on my trade, which they exclusively serviced. I am now dealing with Flemington BMW and just purchased a new seven series from them. The attitude at Princeton BMW is more like "what can they do for themselves", not the customer. Flemmington was a pleasure compared to Princeton. More
