I came in with my mom yesterday to look at an EV9. Luis the salesman was friendly and knowledgeable, and she ultimately decided on the EV9 today, so we drove in to make a deal. We spent two hours discussing finance and lease options and were presented with several payment sheets with various combinations of down payment, finance, and lease rates we were discussing. He then came back with a sheepish look and explained that the dealer wanted $2,500 OVER MSRP for the car, and the previous sheets were incorrect. Nobody said anything prior to this about charging over MSRP. I told him we could make a deal today at MSRP or they'd never see us again. We spent four hours at that dealership, and another four in the car between both days, and had the deal changed at the last minute. This was the worst possible way for two days of car shopping to end. I like to think he was being honest and this was the result of miscommunication and mismanagement rather than deceit, but the end result is the same. I've never left a one-star review before, but here we are. ON edit: Patrick the sales manager called me this afternoon to follow up. He told us the price was a misunderstanding and offered to sell us the EV9 at MSRP as we originally expected yesterday. I don't think it was a misunderstanding, but felt it was important to update this review to reflect their willingness to sell at MSRP the day after we left. I hope others have a better experience than we did, and Lewis was a great salesman to work with through the majority of our time there. More
