I sent an email to Gary Larson there (as well as a number of other dealers that looked promising) in the hopes that Gary would live up to his billing from apparently happy customers. He did, in every respect. He quoted me online a good price, so I drove to McMinnville to close the deal in person. We ordered from Honda exactly the model (EX AWD in steel sapphire) and accessories (e.g., tow package) that I wanted. Gary promised delivery within three months and that’s just what happened. During the wait, he kept me updated, calling every step of the way. To my pleasant surprise, McMinnville found financing for me at an excellent rate and handled everything. On the day of my Pilot’s delivery (April 14), Finance Manager Nora Martin handled all the paperwork with efficiency and pleasantness. So, if you are reading this and wondering whether to check out McMinnville Honda – based on my experience, go for it. And ask for Gary. After all, what more can you expect from an auto sales person than this: honest, knowledgeable, friendly, giving value, keeping commitments, and none of that typical salesperson hustle. In addition, McMinnville took my 2005 Pilot in trade and gave me a very fair price. As for my new Pilot, I’ve now driven it some 400 miles and love everything about it. My old Pilot served me well at 180,000 miles, but it had its irritating little quirks. Honda has fixed every single one of them (e.g., tailgate not opening high enough, downshift lever awkward on the column). It is an amazing vehicle. I am happy with my buying experience at McMinnville Honda and thrilled with my new Pilot. More

He explained what he knew about the car and was willing to answer any questions we had. Steve was low pressure, but experienced and great to work with. The financing took a while and we had to come back the next day. When we came back at nine, Steve was right there waiting for us. While we waited, Steve told my son and I some great stories from his experiences working with many car dealers over the years.
