Having owned a Passat already made it easy to consider and buy a Volkswagen again! The staff, particularly Chad was very responsive, knowledgeable and answered all our questions. I had been researching used VW New Beetles online for several months in preparation for an anniversary today ( Nov 19th). My wife's first car was a 1971 Beetle and with kids leaving the nest she longed for an improved Beetle as a replacement car. Friday night (16 Nov) I found THE gently used, low mileage Beetle for which I had scoured Internet car sites for months. One problem... The dealership was 500mi away (I live in Southern MD) and I was emailing them after hours hoping to figure out logistics to pickup the car within a 7 hr afternnon window of opportunity. I was on the phone with Brad Cain by 0830 Saturday morning and was signing paperwork for the Beetle in a Subway restaurant at a Travel Stop midway between Youngstown OH and my home by 4pm. The transaction was seamless, professional, expeditious, and meticulously carried out by phone, Skype, email, and courier. The Beetle was parked back in my garage in MD to be discovered this morning by my amazed and delighted wife! Fantastic job Preston VW!!! You are now my preferred dealership regardless of my address. Was looking for months at better gas millage in a vehicle. My truck getting 16 mph around town was extremely costly and getting worse with the prices the way they are. Test drove Ford Fusion and was vehicle. My truck getting 16 mph around town was extremely costly and getting worse with the prices the way they are. Test drove Ford Fusion and was not satisfied with preformance. Looked at Hundi, checked out the Hibirds but batteries and price was not acceptable. Finally, I looked at VW at different dealers and was impressed with the TDI millage but was concerned about price. After spending weeks on the net researching all high millage cars it came down to taking a very hard look at Volkswagen. I checked out different V W dealers and made appointments over the net to lool at the Jetta TDI. To my surprise the individual I dealt with on the net handed me off to another sales person which I found very rude. At one dealer the internet person did not even show up and sales people were making excuses trying to fluff it off. That was the end for Bilko motors of Wexford for me. One afternoon after shopping with my wife, I decided to stop at Preston V W unanounced to look at their stock. Low and behold the individual I dealt with on the net came out and talked to my wife and myself. After discussing the Jetta, test driving and watching the millage climb to 34 mpg around Boardman, in town, I was definately impressed, especially since my truck was only getting 16 mpg around town. After returning from test drive, the sales person, Bob Bezzarro, introduced my wife amd myself to Bobby Preston, owner, who was in for the afternoon. After the four of us set down to discuss price, Bob Bezzarro learned my last name and realized we had been discussing the car on the net. To my surprise we were not handed off to any body else and was treated with respect. What a surprise compare to other dealers. We did not purchase the Jetta. My wife was extremely concerned about the cost of diesel fuel being more than gas. She was not impressed with the size of the Jetta or the ride even though I was totally impressed. Two weeks passed, I set up another test drive with the Jetta and the Passat. After driving the Passat, I personally was more impressed with it than I was with the Jetta and still my wife wanted no diesel even though being a bigger vehicle it got the same millage as the Jetta TDI, 34 mpg around town for the few miles we had it out. After another two weeks without any pressure we ended up purchaseing the Passat. My first fillup with 410 miles and only using a half a tank of fuel ended up at 39.93 mpg around town. Am I impressed, after 16 mpg in my truck around town, the millage I am getting with the Passat, the savings in fuel estimated will make the payment monthly. The friendleness, helpfulnesss, kindness and no pressuring but concern along with the Passat its self, ride, millage, comfort makes Preston the real deal to me. Frank H Boyer More
