We were interested in a vw beetle and drove to Preston Volkswagen after searching other car lots and seeing used vw beetles they were not worth what they were asking for, (high mileage). We drove around the parking lot were we saw a 2010 vw, So we stopped in and the staff was all so nice, The sales person who helped us was extremely nice Doug Melidona, we went on a test drive he answered any and all questions that we had, When we got back to Preston his hospitality was greatly appreciated! Never once did he make us feel pressured, when it came down to the paper work he explained everything to us, When we were approved he made sure the car was cleaned once more and before we left he made sure we knew where every button, controls etc,was. He followed up with us a couple days later to see if everything was ok and how we were enjoying the beetle, If you are looking for a sales person with great personality and wonderful people skills when buying a car stop in and talk to Doug Melidona!!!!! I purchased my car and within 2 weeks the check engine light came on the service department have been very gracious with fixing my car. I just keep having problems though. We bought a 2010 Jetta TDI (new) a few years ago, but with all of the deals presented to us, and the need for a little more room, we decided to look at the Passat...which we ended up purchasing. Extremely friendly and didn't make us feel pressured into buying a new vehicle, since they both knew that we were just there to look. I contacted Preston Volkswagen the night before my visit to schedule time to meet with someone. I was contacted right away by Doug. I drove an 1.5 hrs because i was not able to find what i was looking fo to schedule time to meet with someone. I was contacted right away by Doug. I drove an 1.5 hrs because i was not able to find what i was looking for in Cleveland. My visit was great. Everyone was very nice and normal. No pushy sales. When it came down to numbers, we were able to work out a great deal fairly quickly. They had acutally been closed for an hour or by the time I drove off the lot. I will definatly be coming back desipte the long drive! More
