Lori handled everything! Words can't express satisfaction! My wife Joyce & I have a 2010 Equinox. Well the motor was repaired under warranty at Axelrod Buick GMC for the Timing chain & cover issues. There was My wife Joyce & I have a 2010 Equinox. Well the motor was repaired under warranty at Axelrod Buick GMC for the Timing chain & cover issues. There was alot of oil consumption so they replaced pistons and rings.....way to much to list. This was at 80,000 miles. Fast forward to August 2019 with 121,000 miles & kaboom. The rockers are scattered from under the camshafts, pistons hit valves we all know the story Major $$$$. Oct 26,2019 we came to Preston where we bought this car. We liked the dealer & the people but being 40 miles away it's just not convenient to pop in all the time. I previously set an appointment with Tom Z for Sat the 26th. Tom was in the middle of something so he was extremely polite asking if he can have the very capable David Juker.. Now David Passed us to Dylan in Financing where Dylan couldn't crunch the numbers to roll the equinox into another vehicle with negative debt involved. We shook hands and said good bye's in plans of returning in the spring when numbers have changed. Upon getting into the Borrowed car to get to Preston , Pat Preston came to the car and introduced himself. Pat asked if we bought the equinox from him,I said yes. Totally jaw dropping & flooring Joyce and I Pat simply said that he will put an engine in the car for free & send a tow truck Monday for the car. I personally don't know a dealer that does this, & I have been an auto tech in the field for 27 years now retired. I have been telling everyone that Preston is the best Auto Superstore to buy from and have service.. I hope all that I tell come here and find the deals and honesty we have found in Preston. Pay it forward ..... Joyce and I feel like we won the lottery! More
