My first interaction with the Preston dealership came when I went to test drive the new Ford Fiesta. When we figured out that the Fiesta was not the car for us, there was no attempt by the salesman to tr when I went to test drive the new Ford Fiesta. When we figured out that the Fiesta was not the car for us, there was no attempt by the salesman to try to convince us it was, or to sell us something different. He just asked if he could do anything else for us. When we said no thank you, he thanked us for coming out, gave us his card, and went back inside. Absolutely no pressure at any time. Second I went back to their website to see if there were any promotions on any cars that I would be interested in. I sent them an email to ask for more info on one and Derek emailed me back quickly with the information I was looking for. He asked if I was interested in coming to test drive the car (Mazdaspeed3). I responded that I would love to, but did not feel very comfortable driving a car with a manual transmission. He made arrangements to drive a loaner car until I felt comfortable enough to test drive the car I was actually interested in. He was not able to be in that day so he set me up to work with Karen, who was polite, energetic, knowledgeable, and very helpful. She ended up letting me take the Mazdaspeed3 home with me overnight to see if it was the car for me. After I got comfortable with the car and decided it was the one for me, it was time for the part of car buying that nobody likes. I brought the car back, met Derek, who I had only talked to via email and over the phone. He was very courteous and helpful. My wife had to work, but we decided that if they were unable to meet a specific monthly payment at 60 months, we would walk away. There was what seemed like a tiny bit of pushing to get me to go above our preset number, when it came obvious that I wasn't going to budge on my number, eventually they made it work. Overall it was the best experience at a car dealership I've had. After buying my first car, even just looking at a car dealership made me nervous. The people at Preston did a great job at making thing work for me and being very accommodating. More

This is my third car purchased from Preston Mazda and I will be going back again. The price was doen without the need to haggle and there was no pressure to add on any additional items that I didn't want. will be going back again. This dealer was very worth the purchase. The sales person (Effie) was a little over worked (was waiting on 3 or more customers at one time) but we were not unsatisfied. Effie Malec was great! The most important thing to me when purchasing an auto is having the salesperson listen to what I want and attempt to make a perfect fit. Effie did this! With no high pressure tactics or push to get into something pricier. My last purchase last year wasn't nearly so simple. This time, the vehicle I wanted was in stock and at the right price. She even entertained my 8 1/2 month old son while I concluded the financing with Jamie. Mary Jane was great in the pre-visit phone contacts and promptly replied to any questions I had and assured me they would find a perfect match. Couldn't have been any better. Jamie was very helpful and got the financing done the same night. Then he was able to revise the financing when I found a better rate at my own bank. Its this level of service that made me consider coming back to Preston. My last purchase was made in frustration at not being able to get the car I wanted when I wanted it (mainly due to it being the end of the Clunker Program and short supply) I'll be back, but I think I'll wait more than just a year between cars this time. I got what I wanted now. More

I talked with Derek Krucelyak at Preston over a cx-7 turbo that I had purchased from Pohanka of Salisbury. Pohanka was trying to make me pay $1600.00 for a fuel pump and egr valve that was still covere turbo that I had purchased from Pohanka of Salisbury. The guys at Preston were AWESOME. Great experience, knowledgeable, and very helpful. The service dept. was great and explained everything to me. The Preston guys renewed my faith that people are honest and want their customers to be happy. These guys treat you like family. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM PONANKA OF SALISBURY, THEY ARE CROOKS. More

Buying a car can be like taking a beating, but from the time I talked to Effie on the phone til the time we hugged at the end of the deal she was great in every aspect.
