Owner and founder Robert L. Preston dreamed of running a car dealership since he was young. That dream became a reality when he purchased his first dealership in New Castle, PA in 1989. From that start, Preston created a network of dealerships that now includes 8 locations and 14 major automakers. That success is entirely because of the outstanding customers that we have come to form long-term relationships with.
New Castle is where it all began, and we feel closely tied to this community and the people who make it such a great place to live. In order to share the success of the dealership with the community that has made it possible, Robert L. Preston and his wife Joanne Preston have consistently worked to raised funds and support for important local initiatives.
Robert served as the chair of the capital campaign that raised $3.7 million to build the Preston Chambers YMCA Y Zone. The couple also made a sizable personal donation to the campaign. That is just one of many charitable initiatives the team at Preston Honda has been involved with.
We remain so committed to this community because our staff, our customers, and our partners are made up of friends and neighbors who come from right here in New Castle. It is not our choice to provide ongoing support and exemplary service, it is our imperative. This is the third new Honda I've purchased and the first from Preston Honda. It was by far the most pleasant, refreshing experience. No sales pitches, pressure, or mind games whatsoever. I am visiting Monaca from Oregon. I had 30% life left on the oil, so I figured I might just squeak by on this trip. My car didn't agree. I looked online and saw the great reviews for Preston Honda. I made a the oil, so I figured I might just squeak by on this trip. My car didn't agree. I looked online and saw the great reviews for Preston Honda. I made an appointment for a few days later and due to a scheduling problem had to cancel at the last second. I was told I could drop in on Saturday and they might be able to squeeze me in. I showed up on Saturday with no appointment and ,although they were running shorthanded, they got my car in and did the service. When my car was returned to me not only was the oil changed but the car had been washed and the service rep was apologizing for me having to wait so long. My wait had been less than an hour and a half long from when I entered the service department to me driving off. Now that is service. I just wish I lived closer. I wish I could give you guys a 6 star rating for your customer service. More

Thought it was time to grow up so put on my big girl panties and decided to go with a Honda coupe. First nibble I got was from K Abraham. Worked with James Preston and got a very competitive price on a year end 2013 Honda CR-V. Scheduled an appointment with James on a Saturday and didn't have to wait at all once we got there. The car wa price on a year end 2013 Honda CR-V. Scheduled an appointment with James on a Saturday and didn't have to wait at all once we got there. The car was all cleaned up with a full tank of gas. We looked the car over and took it for test drive. Then we went back to James's desk and finalized the contract with no surprises. James is a very laid back friendly guy who is easy to work with. Next we worked we Valerie Villani on financing. Valerie was super friendly and fun to work with. No high pressure sales tactics and very straight forward on the financing end of the deal. After we had closed on the car James took us out to the car and showed us how to work all the fancy electronics like phone syncing and door lock times/headlight on/off times. Overall a very pleasant experience and well worth the 45 minute drive to New Castle. I had an bad experience at dealership South of Pittsburgh and so to come to the Preston Honda dealership was like a night and day difference for me. More

I was considering buying a Civic hybrid and did not know much about the vehicle. This salesperson only offered answers to specific questions that I asked. Also during my test ddive, he took a personal pho much about the vehicle. This salesperson only offered answers to specific questions that I asked. Also during my test ddive, he took a personal phone call from his brother in law who wanted to know if Dale wanted a cup of coffee. At that point, I felt disrespected. It was if his personal call was more important that I was. I would never again go to this dealership looking to purchase a vehicle. Poor form. More
