Owner and founder Robert L. Preston dreamed of running a car dealership since he was young. That dream became a reality when he purchased his first dealership in New Castle, PA in 1989. From that start, Preston created a network of dealerships that now includes 8 locations and 14 major automakers. That success is entirely because of the outstanding customers that we have come to form long-term relationships with.
New Castle is where it all began, and we feel closely tied to this community and the people who make it such a great place to live. In order to share the success of the dealership with the community that has made it possible, Robert L. Preston and his wife Joanne Preston have consistently worked to raised funds and support for important local initiatives.
Robert served as the chair of the capital campaign that raised $3.7 million to build the Preston Chambers YMCA Y Zone. The couple also made a sizable personal donation to the campaign. That is just one of many charitable initiatives the team at Preston Honda has been involved with.
We remain so committed to this community because our staff, our customers, and our partners are made up of friends and neighbors who come from right here in New Castle. It is not our choice to provide ongoing support and exemplary service, it is our imperative. Sales experience Made original contact via Internet with Kurt regarding a used truck, following up with several phone calls and then scheduled a time to come in to Pre Made original contact via Internet with Kurt regarding a used truck, following up with several phone calls and then scheduled a time to come in to Preaton Honda. Our drive to the dealership was delayed as a massive storm rolled thru the area in the late morning, but we stayed in touch with Kurt and the Sales Manager rescheduling for later that same day. As we live in Venango County, or travel time is two hours so it was important that we confirmed the availability of both the truck and the salesmen. In the final hour as we approached the dealer so we tried four times to speak to either Kurt or his sales manager letting them know we were going to be twenty minutes late do to traffic, but neither were available to answer our call. When we walked in a salesmen told us to wait out front and Kurt would come out. Eventually the Sales Manager came out to say Kurt had to go home early and was not there, even though he had assured us just hours before via phone and email that both Kurt and the Truck were available. However the Sales Manager told us that not only was Kurt not inside as he left early but that someone else had just bought the truck that we had came for just one minute before we arrived. The most unprofessional and openly underhanded sales experience I have personally endured since I have been buying cars, and that is a long time. I realize dealerships push "numbers" over customer loyalty in this present cyber-car-sales, never gonna see you again Sucker arena that we are forced to shop in, but it is wrong. Wonderful! I recently purchased a 2012 Honda Accord at Preston Honda. Kurt Abraham and Paul Makarevich was very courteous, attentive and knowledgeable to to what I recently purchased a 2012 Honda Accord at Preston Honda.
