Don't buy from this Dealership!!!!! This place is so cut throat! I will NEVER as long as I live purchase another vehicle or even recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle from this dealersh This place is so cut throat! I will NEVER as long as I live purchase another vehicle or even recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle from this dealership! I have never been treated so poorly in any way of customer service before. I had a vehicle that was at another dealership (same dealer, just another location) so I asked if the vehicle could be brought to my local dealership as I was very interested in purchasing this vehicle. The dealer went & picked up the vehicle & brought to local dealership for me. Had inspected & cleaned & had an appointment to go look at & do paperwork, as I was very certain that I would purchase. Well I got to the dealership & meet my salesman who advised another salesman had let someone take for test drive. Well as I waited the gentleman that test drove came back & advised he wanted to purchase. The salesmen all huddled together thinking of what to tell us. I don't blame my salesman whatsoever as he lost a sale as well. But WOW!! And after it all I learned that the gentleman who had purchased actually had the truck for 48 hours...so thanks to me getting the vehicle brought to local dealership, someone got a nice vehicle! Talk about cutthroat.....they tried to show us another vehicle but after that I had a bad taste in my mouth & wouldn't purchase a vehicle from them if they were last place on earth. No wonder how they make the TOP 100...by screwing people. Don't even care about customer service just about money! Not a way to do business.....Shady shady shady!!! More
Worst experience ever!!! Stay away please!! I went to preston ready to buy, did a bunch of research about the vehicle I was searching for. So I knew what prices were good and what were bad. I no I went to preston ready to buy, did a bunch of research about the vehicle I was searching for. So I knew what prices were good and what were bad. I noticed they had a truck I was eager to buy. However I am not stupid either. Top dollar on the truck I was interested in was around 25k every review I read said if you pay more than 2k4 you're stupid. They had one listed at a hair under 31k so I made an offer above value thinking it would be a no brainer for them and I understand being a business owner you need to make a profit but I can assure you the lies I was told were too far fetched to ever hold any weight. After days and days of negotiating and promises of phone calls back which I never recieved until days later only to hear "im still trying to work on your deal" and being fed lies such as horrible accidents and udder chaos were the reason why we didnt call. When we finally spoke they were at basically 29k saying they would only make a profit of 500 bucks with the offer they countered me with. Knowingly they couldn't have paid more than 14k on trade being tip top dollar and since they didnt offer me top dollar on my trade which is in near perfect condition and only a few years older. Figured they didnt offer top dollar on the truck I was interested in. As I said though at 29k they were making only 500 bucks stating after inspection they put 3k into it. Which still at top dollar would make their entire investment around 17k meaning I offered over book value and 10k over what they paid. Seems like a decent profit margin to me. Cause you and I know no dealer goes above book value on a trade for anything I repeat anything. Unless they are all idiots or crooks. Im going with crooks because throughout my entire experience all I heard were lies and loose promises. I actually told my salesman about all the info I was able to stir up and he actually laughed got an attitude and rushed me off the phone. So if you would like to over pay, be treated unfair, and feel like a guppie in a pool of great white sharks this is your place. As for anyone who does their research and truely wants a specific vehicle and is prepared to offer a fair in just price you might want to look elsewhere. Give the business to someone and a business who really value a customer. We all work hard for our money. Dont get hung up on a vehicle to the point where youre giving it away. Cause their "Preston Promise" of a always low and fair price is a total lie, and their sales team is a bunch of scrubs. Stay away please trust me. Im not just some disgruntled customer who didnt get his way. I offered over book for a dealer and was still denied and laughed at. Good luck and hope this helps. More
Shady financing I took my father-in-law to Preston to purchase a vehicle. He picked out the vehicle and was very pleased with it. Traded in his old vehicle. We waited I took my father-in-law to Preston to purchase a vehicle. He picked out the vehicle and was very pleased with it. Traded in his old vehicle. We waited from about noon until 6 p.m. to get finance approval. Completed all of the paperwork...contract, odometer, etc... Had his payment and interest rate complete. Received a call 3 weeks later from the finance department saying that the financing fell through on the vehicle and that he needed a co-signer. They said he would have to turn the car back in if he couldn't obtain financing. After contacting local agencies and an attorney I found out that what they were doing was illegal and if we had a binding contract they would have to make the deal right. After multiple calls and disrespect from one of the general managers, Mary Jane, and finance guy Billy, we had to drive back to the dealership to re-sign papers. They assured us that this doesn't ever happen (when I have been told it has happened numerous times). They ended up finding a finance company with a shorter term and a slightly less interest rate. I WOULD NOT EVER GO TO THEIR DEALERSHIP EVER AGAIN! RUDE AND NASTY ONCE THEY HAVE YOU! More
Military Servicemember and a Dealer with no Honor ***DISHONEST, SHADY, AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE*** BUYERS BEWARE Yesterday on the 27th of May I was looking at a nice Ford F-150 on Preston Ford’s web ***DISHONEST, SHADY, AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE*** BUYERS BEWARE Yesterday on the 27th of May I was looking at a nice Ford F-150 on Preston Ford’s website which was listed at $41,600. I called the sales rep named Brian who agreed to honor the original price and work out a deal for a trade in. I complied and sent “Brian” the requested information and was suppose to receive a call today to finalize the deal. While I waited for the overdue call I looked at the website and the truck post was taken down and reposted at 69k. After several attempts I got a hold of “Brian” who was allegedly out of the office on an emergency, and was told I’d get another phantom call back. Several more attempts the operator told me he was there all day. Several more attempts and reps later I spoke with “Hunter”, a female the sales manager, who stated the lowest they could go is $61,995. Now their website whose disclaimer says all deals are good for two days and prices may change. This was acknowledged by "Hunter", but I was told that was true, but they could not honor that price. They didn’t even have the common decency to tell me they made a mistake until repeated attempts to call them. So, after over ten calls on my end, repeatedly being lied to about getting a call back, more lies about workers being gone for emergencies, more broken promises and just a complete lack of honesty, integrity, and respect for customers. While I’m pissed off I didn’t get the truck at that deal advertized and agreed upon, imagine the customer service on the probably lemons a place with this kind of customer service would produce. A similar situation happened on EBay with Preston Ford previously where they had a truck listed at a price and once I inquired through EBay they did not respond to my offer and the price of the vehicle changed to a significantly higher price. This appears to be a classic bait and switch technique that is very unethical to “get you in the door” and then take advantage of you. Unless you want to deal with the sleaze ball capitals of sales, STAY AWAY FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT. BUYERS BEWARE!! More

I order that and two other things over the telephone and they took about one week to come in. I was able to schedule an appointment for the next Monday to be able to have it installed. I got there and everything went well until they told me they needed two keys to program the system. I don't know about other people, but I don't keep two keys in the automobile. I had no choice but to let them cut a new one, otherwise it would've been 90 minutes back home and 90 minutes right back to the dealership. The installation was a lot faster than I was quoted, so I was pleased with that. However, I was not pleased that they charged me $170 for a key and $30 to program it. They didn't give a remote, just the key. Even worse is it says Ford on it, instead of the Lincoln symbol. The labor cost was fine, but I did not like that they force an extra $200 out of me. When I spoke with the person who scheduled the appointment, he did not mention to bring two keys. Had I known that, I obviously would've brought the extra key and saved the $200. They may have gained that money, but they've lost six potential customers (my family and me). I will never go to this dealership for anything ever again and will be informing all friends and other family of their horrible business practices. More
Beware of their "Lifetime Engine Repair Agreement"... they pushed that as a selling point for me and later when I read all the fine print I found it states it will not cover a "vehicle more Agreement"... they pushed that as a selling point for me and later when I read all the fine print I found it states it will not cover a "vehicle more than 6 calendar years old", which this one is. They should not have used it as a selling point then!! A lot of other vehicles are also not covered as well as any with 100,000 miles on them. I emailed about this and the salesperson simply replied "you should be covered", which does not legally alter the contract. A few days later I found that the CD player did not work and emailed asking if they would fix it or not. After several emails to the salesperson who kept saying he would get back to me, no reply either way. Who carries a CD when they go to test drive a vehicle? had I known this at the outset they would have either fixed it or I would not have bought it. Terrible customer service after the sale! More
I bought my first car from Preston back in 1991, and have bought plenty from their since. I always enjoyed my trips to the corner of 331 and 318. Well until this last trip, lets just say I have bought my las bought plenty from their since. I always enjoyed my trips to the corner of 331 and 318. Well until this last trip, lets just say I have bought my last car from Preston. They tried to lowball be terribly on my used trade in. I walked out on their lowball offers and less than $400. Went across the Bridge and got a new vehicle for less than $1000 over what they were trying to sell me a used one for. Please people, get your KBB book value and stick to your guns when trading in and buying from Preston. They prefer dumb, uneducated people with terrible credit so they can try and clean out your pockets......Preston for Life? HA! Since my trade in offer was lo low I asked them about the $250 dollar bonus for Preston for Life and they acted like they didn't know what it was. I mean this is their marketing promotion, not mine. I guess its just a gimmick. My new motto is PRESTON never again! More
My worst experience EVER. I have never had any experience in any industry that was this worse to compel me to write a bad review online. PRESTON IS THE ABSOLUTE WORSE CAR DEALER. Sales people were very pushy in any industry that was this worse to compel me to write a bad review online. PRESTON IS THE ABSOLUTE WORSE CAR DEALER. Sales people were very pushy when I got to the dealer and kind of rushed me through the sale. They lied about the vehicle price, my credit score, and other hidden charges worth $10000 more than the car price. As soon as I noticed the extra charges that I didn't expect, I called them back within 24 hours of sale. They said the manager is not in the office, and the next day they said financial manager is not in and so on. They delayed to respond. And when they did 4 days later they said that that was what I signed and that’s what I get. IF THEY SAY YOU ARE GETTING DISCOUNT ON YOUR LOAN APR BECAUSE YOU ARE GETTING A WARRANTY SERVICE. JUST WALK AWAY.... They are dishonest, nonprofessional people. And when I argued about the extra loan amount they said that I shouldn't have bought a car if I can't afford it, when the truth is I just bought used car for 27k (including their extra charges). Also, they claimed that all the other charges I had signed (they lied about those documents when I signed) were not to be cancelled. As soon as I heard that, I called ford to verify whether I could cancel the warranty they said yes, I called my loan bank to ask how dealers could discount APR based on warranty, they said it’s a complete lie, not only this, I had problem with the car I bought 2 days ago, and I had asked my salesperson to help me and check the car for me, they were totally not helpful, did nothing... didn't even reply to my emails and phone calls. And finally asked me to go to their branch that’s 5 hrs. driving (round trip), when they have a service center 20 mins away from my house. THEY are THE WORST. So I risked to pay all the expenses of the car repair myself, and went to my local ford dealer. Thank god, they said my car was still under factory warranty and that I didn’t have to pay. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND MY WORST ENEMY TO THIS DEALER. PLEASE JUST STAY AWAY More
