AMAZING CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE Amazing deal and communication. Purchased car and had it delivered to Pennsylvania by Preston. The service at the dealer was excellent. Neil was great to work with, very personable and willing to help in any way. I actually had some issues with the Focus' paint and talked to Neil about them. He quickly set up appointments and sent out a loaner car (I live about an hour away) both times. When I received the car back from the shop, it looked as if there were no issues to begin with. I have no bad things to say about Preston. Definitely will have my business in the future. More

The deal was slide across the table to me at 27k and was told this was their "no haggle" price. I explained to the salesmen the online price and the manager subsequently pretended they were looking at another "database" . It was obviously they tired to dupe me. They then pretended the new price was the true "no haggle" price, unwilling to negotiate. Was also told it didn't matter to them as their cars have always sold at top price at auction lol It was clear they had no time for the "little guy ". Go elsewhere where they atleast pretend your sale is important. More

Fumes in the cab I had to take it to Pohanka in Salisbury to help me To all of the people that I have sent there DON'T GO BACK More
Preston Ford has a culture of bad customer service The Preston Ford experience started out really well, our salesman, Selbe was great, to the point, had good answers, didn't waste your time, loved it. When you look back on what upsets us with Preston Ford and their horrible post sale customer service, it is totally at odds with their behavior while they are making the sale. We looked at the truck and then went to check out a few other dealers. In the period of the hour that we were gone we got more than 10 calls, some from Selbe and some from Chris Marks, the GM. Funny, how they had the time to make all those calls in the lead up to the sale but for a question and concern that I had after we drove it off the lot, no one seems to have time to make a return phone call . I 'reached out, then reached out again...then reached..you get the point, no one is calling me back. Funny how they ask for all your info to stay in contact as the sale is going down but must lose it very quickly after you drive off the lot! My advice would be to say Buyer beware- the culture of bad customer service begins with their VP, David Wilson, whom I called several times asking for a return phone call. He is the one that actually sent us the email inviting us to call him PERSONALLY should we have any questions... Hmmm. I would tend to think he may have never got the message except that I know he did, I talked with his assistant. Oh well...We came home with a beautiful truck, but along with that it would have been so sweet to not only say we had a great buying experience, but also that Preston had wonderful customer service after the sale, which they do not and that is important for the longevity of a dealership. You can get away with crappy post sale customer service for awhile but most of us are smart enough to get burned once and move on. We know there are too many good dealers that offer tremendous post sale customer service. Preston Ford was just not one of them in our case so buyer - Beware! More
Cant trust this dealer when buying a new vehicle I was mislead and lied to in order to get the sales price down to close deal during negotiations This car dealer used whatever means necessary to clo I was mislead and lied to in order to get the sales price down to close deal during negotiations This car dealer used whatever means necessary to close me on the car sale with no regard at all for false, misleading or factual omissions. They lied about the terms of financing, they sold me a service contract that made no sense after I took the time to read the terms, they charged me to get new plates when all I needed to do was transfer my old tags and numerous people up and down the sales experience said things to me that were not accurate as a way of overcoming my objections. To make matters worse, they tried to talk me into giving them a perfect rating on my Ford motor survey when it arrived, regardless of how I really felt. This dealership can't be trusted and the ownership should consider cleaning house if they want this to change. More
