I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Preston Chevrolet, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a team of salespersons who Preston Chevrolet, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a team of salespersons who seemed more interested in their own agenda than helping customers. Joanne, Brandon, Chuck, and especially Jack Skeleton, were all equally unhelpful and fake in their demeanor. Communication was a challenge from the get-go. It felt like pulling teeth just to get a coherent response out of any of them. It's as if they were trained in the art of dodging questions and avoiding straightforward answers. To add insult to injury, their vending machines were empty, leaving me parched and frustrated during what was already a taxing ordeal. But that wasn't even the worst part. Despite their promise of a cash offer to buy my car, they conveniently "forgot" to honor it when I returned within the stated expiration date. It was as if they thought they could pull a fast one on me and I wouldn't notice. Well, I did. Overall, my experience at Preston Chevrolet was just plain weird. From the lackluster customer service to the empty vending machines and broken promises, I wouldn't wish this ordeal on my worst enemy. Save yourself the headache and steer clear of this place. More
I was surprised to visit this dealership and find that the Church family was gone. I had dealt with them for over 15 years. I was also pleased with the new staff . We ordered a 2021 Tahoe in early April. Due to the chip shortage we didn't recieve the Tahoe until November. Our salesmen Jesse (unfortunately doesn't work at this dealership anymore) was wonderful, kept u shortage we didn't recieve the Tahoe until November. Our salesmen Jesse (unfortunately doesn't work at this dealership anymore) was wonderful, kept us updated on the delivery date monthly. The day we recieved the Tahoe everyone at the dealership was helpful and excited for us to finally get our vehicle. Unfortunately, that is where the quality service stopped. During our final walk through we noticed a large chip under the "O" on the tailgate. It was obvious whomever put our blackout package on chipped the paint and told no one. When we brought this to the "manager" he brushed it off and said "it would be taken care of". Luckily, Jesse (again doesn't work there anymore) was still in contact with this dealership and helped "fix" the problem. The dealerships fix was to use touch up paint and tell us "it was the best they could do". After several conversations with "JR" he agreed to fix it correctly and would be setting up the appointment and calling us back. After 2 weeks and no word from JR, we demanded to talk with someone above JR. My wife talked with "Glenn" who claimed the dealership didn't chip the tailgate and that the tailgate was plastic, not metal so there was no way it could be chipped. Obviously, this was a lie and an attempt to dodge responsibility. After threatening to call GM and file a complaint, Glenn said he would have someone call us back. That was Tuesday, have yet to hear from anyone at the dealership. Please think twice before considering buying a car from this dealership!! More

They like to give you this broad description of the service they need to perform with high dollar values and you come to find out that they have hidden some additional charges beyond the scope of what was told to you. No pressure I decided to shop for a new vehicle with JP Chevrolet because of the fact that they are a small , local dealership with a long history in this town. I did not feel pressured at all while working with Barry, the sales specialist. He knows these vehicles and assured me that I'd be happy with my purchase, since after all I was going from a Toyota to a Chevrolet. That's quite a move for me! I went with a new Colorado which had a lot of reasons to like! I should note that that there was not a lot of haggling, and the price I received for my vehicle in trade-in was right on with Kelly Blue Book. I'll note too that they have an excellent service department. A few days after getting the truck home, the battery died. I jump started to get to work and called JP. Within 30 minutes they stopped by work and picked up my truck, replaced the bad battery and brought the truck back to me. No problems ever since. It was also a pleasure meeting the owner of JP, a really fine gentleman with some good stories to tell. Small, local, part of Aberdeen. JP Chevrolet was well worth being my dealer of choice! Ted Wittmer has proven time after time he knows the vehicles and will listen than use his knowledge to find the right vehicle for me.The dealership is just the right size to provide service and financing promised but not delivered in most places today.
