Sales Review-used csr purchase After deciding to purchase a used car, Prestige Volvo in East Hanover, NJ provided more quality used XC60 options over other Volvo dealerships in the After deciding to purchase a used car, Prestige Volvo in East Hanover, NJ provided more quality used XC60 options over other Volvo dealerships in the tri-state area. It was obvious that this was the dealership worth taking a drive to. Although the initial car we intended to test drive was recently sold, additional viable options were provided. Our Sales Associate, Deborah Amster, was very personable/attentive, extremely knowledgeable of Volvo models and genuinely caring of our needs for suitability. It was a very pleasurable experience as Deborah educated us on Volvos (having transitioned from Toyota), outlined the "Family" values to its customers (introduced us to relevant Volvo Staff for purchase and future servicing),processed the purchase, trade-in and ensured the car was ready for pick-up within 24 hours. At pick-up, extensive time was devoted to ensuring the car functionalities were understood. Deborah contacted us after purchase for feedback on the car and offered continued "Volovo xc60 premium package" education at any any time in the future. This dealership and car buying experience was by far the best overall satisfaction from the consumer perspective that we have ever received! More

Tire Problem Resolved with Great Results I suffered a flat tire several months back and had to be towed to Prestige Volvo for tire replacement. I did not realize at the time that the failure I suffered a flat tire several months back and had to be towed to Prestige Volvo for tire replacement. I did not realize at the time that the failure was due to wear and the other tires were equally as worn, and I soon suffered another tire failure (on a different wheel). With the second failure I was on the way to a funeral with a full car of family members and had no choice but to hobble to the nearest tire repair facility where I bought 3 new Good Year tires (the only tires the shop had on hand that fit my vehicle, a 2014 S60 R-Design) so I could quickly continue the trip to the funeral. Unfortunately, these did not match the original Pirellis that came with the car or the replacement Pirelli Volvo had already installed. This left me with mismatched tires that affected the ride quality of the vehicle and, perhaps worse, greatly diminished traction because the Good Year tires were not the brand Volvo chose to pair with this car. This car is performance-oriented and the Good Years didn't hold up. As I became more frustrated by the tires, I wrote to Prestige Volvo explaining why I was disappointed. Had I been aware at the time of the first tire failure that all four tires were equally worn and would soon fail I would have replaced all four then and there instead of waiting and ultimately having to replace the other three in an emergency-type situation. I was not sure what type of response I would receive. I was very impressed when Jay Rosen, Prestige's Service Manager, called me very promptly and explained that he had read my letter and understood my frustration. He offered to replace two of the tires with the factory-specified Pirellis if I would cover the cost of the third, leaving me with four proper tires (I already had one from the first flat tire replacement). I accepted his offer and arranged for the service the next day. The car was done in the very early afternoon and Jay called me to tell me everything was complete and that he had decided to cover the cost of all three tires as good will from Volvo. This was obviously great news. I purchased the car from this dealer and have continued to go to Prestige. This was the first disappointing experience I had, and Jay and Prestige Volvo immediately turned the situation around, leaving me completely satisfied. The experience was excellent - I'm very grateful and would absolutely recommend this dealer. Although this was a service experience, my original experience purchasing the vehicle was equally as good.
