Super great service shop, and expert Volvo consultancy I live in New York City. I *purposely* drive across the GW Bridge (and such up the $15 tool!) to have my Volvo XC70 serviced at Prestige Volvo. I coul I live in New York City. I *purposely* drive across the GW Bridge (and such up the $15 tool!) to have my Volvo XC70 serviced at Prestige Volvo. I could go to the Volvo dealers in Manhattan or White Plains, but I choose Prestige for many reasons. Reason No. 1 is Claus, who does much more than "check me in" to the service dept. He's very much a consultant and partner in keeping my car running as it should, advising about possible future issues, helping cut service costs when possible (think about THAT, everyone who has had to deal with local service shops!), and serving as a true professional consultant. Importantly, since I have to wait for my car, the customer lounge is comfortable, with free WiFi so I can continue to work while waiting. And the coffee and bagels don't hurt. Yes, my car is 10 years old, but there's no way I'm going to the local shade tree mechanic just yet. I'm relying on Claus and Prestige to keep this beauty humming along for a long time. More
