The Volkswagen Dealership Prestige VW of Stamford, CT is a quality car dealership to date (1 day in from receipt of my vehicle). There were multiple issues with the purchase which I thought would have been a quality car dealership to date (1 day in from receipt of my vehicle). There were multiple issues with the purchase which I thought would have been the smoothest purchase of my life. It was not. It is not all Prestige's fault, but the practice could be improved. I purchased the car from an internet ad. I live in Eastern LI. Phone transactions were hampering to the deal, reaching the Sales Manager was not easy and I had to aggressively pursue the purchase of this car to move things along. It took a week for finance and $ to fall into place, but promised to pickup the car on Saturday the following week, upon receipt of funds the day of pickup, I was told by the dealership my vehicle would not be ready for another week. Amir and Joe (Sales Mgr and Rep) were apologetic and provided a new loaner for my used vehicle purchase for the week. Exchange was arranged and completed with a few kinks and frustrations, but I did receive the vehicle. Overall, I would believe this is an honest and good dealership with a good team. It is difficult to manage during COVID times, but I believe they will do a good job with us and be fair to us for all issues. They have listened, been courteous and were a pleasure to deal with and were never rude or forceful. I wanted the car I wanted, they held it w/o deposit and trusted I was serious about purchase when I provided all documents (I did offer to put a deposit down - they refused and though it made me nervous, they honored the sale of the vehicle to me).
