Soon perhaps, but not until they fall below 50% at the very soonest. Otherwise, if you know what you are doing the Service Department at Prestige Toyota in Kingston, NY is great. Also, there is no way to get a hold of sales by phone. However, you can easily get a hold of service. I called for Sales Six (6) times over a 10 day period trying to get a hold of sales to ask about a vehicle I saw on their website, The genius who oversees the sales department decided to hire a 3rd party company to handle sales calls. The people that answer the phone follow a script. Regardless of what you tell them they stick to the script. It is like dealing with a broken a reorder announcement only it is a real person you are speaking to. They have no ability to listen or interact with humans. After playing the 20 questions game they tell you they will have aisles person call back. Only, nobody from sales ever calls back. Sale people are well aware fo this issue and Sales Managment knows about this issue.. The upper level of Sales Managment here is awful. That is clear based on the corporate culture that permeates sales. Gino, the floor sales manager on duty at Prestige Toyota in Kingston, NY had a very unprofessional approach, tone and a bad attitude to back it all up. I have found this to be the case for more than a decade that I have attempted to business at Prestige Toyota in Kingston NY. It was always bad but it has progressively gotten worse over the years, especially in the last few years. I have tried buying several cars from Prestige Toyota of Kingston in NY over the past 12 years for myself, family and friends. However, I always end up going elsewhere due to the fact that are never anywhere close to being competitive but MORE so because Prestige Toyota of Kingston NY has always had a poor attitude and terrible approach when it comes to how they communicate with customers and how they treat customers. I was recently trying to help a friend purchase a vehicle. My experience with the sales person was OK. He seemed reasonably straightforward and if you know how to read people, he was basically sincere and trying his best to do a good job when it comes to sell me a car. Albeit, I am picky and he was getting impatient and bothered by printing Four (4) CarFax Reports so I can choose which vehicle was best for the person I was shopping for. In the end, I found a car I wanted for my friend. That is when I had to deal with the Gino the Sales Manager from Prestige Toyota in Kingston NY. I am being kind when I say the experience was not good at all and in fact, dare I say, pitiful. The car I wanted was an odd duck but it worked for my friend. It was a California car for its entire life that ended up in recently being sold through Carvana in Texas. A year later it sold at Auction in NY. It was a Toyota Highlander in great condition but it was Two (2) Wheel Drive with a Four (4) Cylinder Engine. This is a an odd duck and a tough sale to say the least in Upstate NY where it snows. However, for a variety of reasons it worked for my friend. Let's just say without getting in to the details of what I suffered while dealing with Gino the Sales Manager Prestige Toyota in Kingston, NY killed the deal. . I was ready to buy the car and put a substantial deposit on the vehicle. I needed 48 hours to get my friend there to do all the paperwork. Gino told me in no uncertain terms with a lot of attitude to add insult to injury that he would not hold the car for 48 hours. Odd, since according to sales people there, Prestige Toyota in Kingston NY is taking at least 2 WEEKS to deliver cars due to a lack of staffing. Go figure. Buy the care now or take a hike and then wait at least 2 weeks before we can deliver it too you. WOW...!! So in other words, but the car on the spot or go away. In the end, I chose to go away and not do business with Prestige Toyota in Kingston NY. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED. GO ELSEWHERE. More
