Purchased a brand new 2025 Forester from Brian Rea on July 10. Mr. Rea was an awesome sales specialist, courteous, and easy to talk to. HOWEVER, when we met Mr. Fang (Financial Manager), in the back offi July 10. Mr. Rea was an awesome sales specialist, courteous, and easy to talk to. HOWEVER, when we met Mr. Fang (Financial Manager), in the back office to pay for the car the conversation became difficult with him. My appointment was a little late and he was definitely angry. When I asked about his reason for been angry for me been a little late, he started raising his voice. Mr. Fang or Phang (whatever his last name was) talked over my voice, was absolutely rude, obviously no respect towards me, obnoxious, and his appearance was not one from a financial manager. Definitely, this manager needs more training. He did not apologize. I hate to say it, but we might not come back to buy another car there. And that's why they get only four stars. I recommend only Brian Rea, NOT the manager in the back. He should be let go. More
They like to use high pressure tactics just to get you to buy a car. Any car. Not the car you want. You tell them what you want and they can't get it so they try to pressure you into buying something else buy a car. Any car. Not the car you want. They waste a lot of your time and then complain that they have spent time without making a sale. That's what sales is. You don't sell to everyone who walks in the door. But if you do your job correctly, that potential customerr will give good reviews to their friends. Definitely not my case. More
Purchased 2023 Solterra EV 11/22. Did not finance vehicle but finance guy sold us a 60 month warranty. He stated warranty was for dents and scratches, and the repair company would c Did not finance vehicle but finance guy sold us a 60 month warranty. He stated warranty was for dents and scratches, and the repair company would come out to wherever we were. I waited some 18 months until we had a few scratches, called for service under the warranty. Was told the warranty only applied to TIRES and MINOR DENTS (no paint missing dents), and that we had to go to a participating dealership. We were never provided anything in writing other than a one page printout for a Fidelity Warranty Services, Inc. Vehicle Protection Plan Road Hazard Tire and Wheel Service Contract, that was printed out after I signed a scratch pad and it said I agree to be bound by all pages of the contract (NO CONTRACT WAS EVER PROVIDED). The one pager just had my info and the vehicle info. Unfortunately, when we finally called the warranty company, and then the dealership, the service the finance and general manager both said it did not cover scratches and I could only get a prorated refund. Although neither was a witness to what we were told, they insisted we were never lied to. I am a Contracts Attorney, and my Husband a computer and tax professional. We know exactly what we were told or we never would have paid an absurd amount for a warranty that may have required us to return to this far away out of state dealership to repair tiny dents and wheel/tire imperfections. (That's all that's covered). They will never get any more business from us and I hope this saves someone reading this from giving them your business, More
